‘I recommend Salvation Burger on 51st. A little steep for a burger, but its worth it with the first bite. And they’re HUGE. – I don’t really think In-N-Out ever really will expand. I think they definitely have all of the business they need where they’re at, and frankly, it’s a travesty.”
“Noted. I think it’s the whole west coast exclusivity that makes it so... it’s basically a national landmark at this point.”

“I tell you what. You get drunk and tell me all your deepest darkest secrets, and maybe I can overlook your bad choices and stupidity.” It’s mostly a joke. “It doesn’t have to be on good wine. Getting wine drunk is a slow process. Maybe you have some good wine and a couple of tequila shots for good measure.”
“You’re asking a lot. You gonna front my booze? If unload all my trash in your lap, do you accept federal health insurance? Since you’ll basically be my shrink at that point. Tequila, I can do that, never mixes that up.”

“But In-N-Out. – I mean, I know of a couple non-chain burger joins around here, but…sometimes you just want that familiar taste. In-N-Out tastes like my childhood.”
“Now I want a burger... oh! Also Red Robin is on the east coast. The hole in the wall places are always the best, probably because they don’t take themselves seriously. That’s a concrete reason to want it here, when do you think they will expand or is this another Hardee’s Carl’s JR situation?”

“I would like to lodge a formal complaint because there are no In-N-Out burgers on the East Coast and all I want right now is a double-double, animal style.”
“Shake Shack though... Also Five Guys, but if the east coast had all three it would be the trifecta. I don’t know if the east coast can handle it yet.”

“Some mistakes are clearly worse than others. And that is pretty bad. I mean, unless you were like, super new to drinking in which case it’s a little more forgivable. Other than that I just–honestly, I’m not mad. I’m disappointed.”
“I feel like you’ll never trust me again after finding out how dumb I used to be. It’s ancient history -- I’m ancient history. I need to get drunk on real wine and redeem myself, I won’t be able to sleep until I do it. Don’t like disappointing people.”

“Oh, honey.” She honestly doesn’t even try to hide the disappointment in her voice. “How did you not die, honestly. I don’t even think it’s healthy to drink vinegar. Not to mention that really, no wine is that color. Wine doesn’t look like water. Vodka does.”
“I know my booze now, don’t worry.” Still, that was a pretty low point in his life. “Everyone makes mistakes right? I was sick for a while, vinegar is acidic and I didn’t dilute it with water so I pretty much fucked myself up in all the wrong ways. Three years from now I still won’t understand why I did it.”

“ -- I should have already known it wasn’t wine but I’m no sommelier. It wasn’t until someone needed the vinegar for non drinking purposes did I realize it wasn’t shitty wine and just... vinegar. Didn’t realize how pathetic it sounded until I said it out loud.”

“You could say that – don’t have much going on in the social department, though. I mean, i’m pretty sure I don’t even like beer, so even going to a bar wouldn’t help me. Dog trainer? That’s…well, random, but at least you’ve got a plan. As quasi as it may seem. I’m not judging, though.”
“It would be a friendly bar, beer, babes, non beer -- ice cream! My dad doesn’t mix liquor with sweet stuff but sometimes a man just needs a nice sundae after scarfing down some spicy wings to chase away the burn. I bonded with a German Shepherd a couple years ago and it was life changing. Miss that feeling.”
