RIP Adel Termos… A Hero from Lebanon

Rather than running for his life, Adel sacrificed it to save 100s. This is Adel Termos, a young father of two. 

Adel spotted the second ISIS suicide attacker heading towards the Mosque in Burj Al Barajneh, Beirut’s Southern Suburb, Lebanon, to blow himself up, and take100s of lives gathered to pray. Adel ran and tackled the bomber who quickly dispatched his bombs taking both of his life and Adel’s with him. 

Adel sacrificed his life for the sake of 100s others. 

Adel… May your Precious and Heroic soul Rest in Peace.

Those "Pakalu Papito" posts need to fucking die.

The photo used for the twitter account is one of the first images that comes up in both the U.K and U.S Google image searches for “ugly Indian man”. Guess where it leads to? Stormfront.

It’s been said here before, but “Papito” isn’t an Indian name. “Pakalu” is part of the name of a South Indian village, so I’m guessing that was close enough for whatever dick made the account.

You are revealing an embarrassing amount about yourself if you’re laughing at a fake Indian guy and his fake job at a fake gas station. The stereotypes are all pretty real though.

No really, you guys are so fucking ignorant about our culture and the people in it that you accept what is clearly a made up account because you don’t know that there is something wrong there. The badly chosen name, forced broken English, stock awkward brown guy photo, all of it. You see nothing wrong or out of place with an image you must have in mind of a guy like “Pakalu Papito”.
