What's your favorite annual event around town? Or, if you're new to town, what's your favorite place to visit?

I think I love the Lantern Festival, though it's hard to beat the Acorn Drop. The Flotilla is nice as well. It's so hard choosing.

Oh, yes of course! So sorry, I didn't mean it in a presumptuous way, I truly just meant so we could go to a quieter place to get to know each other and our interests haha.

That date sounds really nice! I do agree that being out in the daylight is very nice. There is something romantic about a picnic under the stars though, don't you think?

But getting to know each other would be my top priority.

I also think mine would be a close second compared to yours!! You've definitely got a better idea of what a good first date looks like.

The most sincere apologies for my lack of communication. I have to admit, I had a case of forgetfulness and technical difficulty so I'm so sorry for the late reply!

And in turn, you don't need to be sorry about anything. I'm merely teasing you. I prefer the quiet usually, though I'm inclined to enjoy people watching.

Speaking of, tangentially, is there a favorite place you like to go in Swynlake? I find this town wonderful and love hearing where everyone likes to go. Me, I near grew up here, so so much has changed, but I really like Hatter's for herbal tea and Whosits and Whatsits for the sentimental items.

I have to admit I've never done something like this before, so I hope you'll forgive me for any hiccups along the way.

Since its there, I will probably start with the prompt. My ideal date is probably going out for a meal or drinks someplace like the Court of Miracles. Somewhere with a live performance; I always think one of those is far more exhilarating than places without. Then perhaps we could go back to one of our places, put on a movie or some music, and then just get to know a bit more about each other.

To be honest, this is my first time doing something like this too. I will forgive your hiccups if you forgive my stumbles.

I could make a joke about being presumptuous, saying that we could go back to our of our places, but you said "perhaps" so I can't make too much fun. I enjoy live performance as well. Growing up, there were a lot of opportunities to see live performances, which I miss now that I'm busier than I was as a child.

I think my ideal first date would actually be a late lunch or early dinner. It's too cold for it now, but I really like sitting out on a lawn with tea and biscuits and fresh fruit. I think it's because I feel more alive in the daylight. I think doing that and getting to know each other would be my ideal first date.

Yours could be a close second!
