You yelp as you trip over a tree root, catching yourself at the last second. āThis is fine,ā you mutter to yourself, holding your arm up to shield your eyes as you look up through the tree foliage. The sun is still high in the sky. āYouāll be back to the car in an hour. You can go home and shower and feel good about yourself for being an outdoors person.
