halloween 2025.

trinity and dennis have lived together for literally a month.

they are still easing up to each other. it is going… relatively well.

he likes her. how could he not? she's cool and he’s living with her for free. he's starting to trust that maybe he can live here for a little.

she likes him. how could she not? he’s nice and is someone to keep her company. she’s tentatively trusting him into her space.

on oct 31 she fights tooth and nail for a day off. and (if his rotation is still going on) she fights ever harder for her lil med student roommate to have the holiday off.

they have the most insane halloweekend.

to this day, nearly a year later, it is strictly never brought up…but it really is what broke the ice in their friendship (the first time dennis held her hair back while she threw up, the first time he carried her because she was too drunk to walk straight, the first time she caught him from falling into the pavement, the first time she picked him up off the pavement, etc...)
