i have never rewatched season 1 episode 7, i get physically violent and unreasonably embarrassed but it's important to the characters and i wanna to rewatch it sigh

i am a very spiritual person! i was told by our medium that i would be able to talk to spirits and work with deities someday. because shes my self insert, i gave her that ability! pendulums are one of the many ways you can communicate with forces outside of our own!

WOAH! Blaire and I were going way faster than I thought! This was the best photo Dee got, all the others were blobs of light. We wanted to hang out at our usual spot, and since Dee was still up I invited him. Blaire was kinda annoyed that I brought him but it's okay, LOL

Aside from horror and classics such as Stephen King, Jules Verne, and H.P. Lovecraft, Dee has two other books that stand out from the rest.
One is Alexander Panchin's Defense Against The Dark Arts, which is a book that debunks occult and paranormal beliefs.
The other is Harry Potter and The Methods of Rationality, which is a Harry Potter fanfiction that takes place in an AU where Harry's aunt is married to an Oxford professor who teaches him science and rational thinking before he eventually went to Hogwarts.

I met Heavy after school when both he and Dee offered to walk me home. He gives me cuteness aggression whenever I see him I love him lots <33 (â„ïčâ„)

Juniper(Toyah) had lived SO many lives prior to meeting Jay. She was so sick of living, she just wanted to find the afterlife. Her first time livng on Earth was as Toyah Myers. She was going to live on autopilot until she found her first love, Sadie Miller. Toyah thought that this was the turning point, the point where life would become worth livng again. By day, they were performing at clubs and parties. By night, they were telling people their future and getting justice for the downtrodden (stealing from the rich, givng to the poor kinda stuff). They were a dynamic duo, so mysterious and, some how, everyone knew them.
When they were in their late 20s, Sadie fell ill. Heart disease killed her slowly until she passed away in 1983. Toyah, now 33, let herself go. She fell into a hard life of substance abuse that finally killed her at 34 years old. After her death, she never saw Sadie again, which crushed her. She went through lives quickly, not even trying to survive. Her second life on Earth as Juniper was especially miserable. Earth was the one place that had cheated her out of a good life. When she found the dog-
-this one, prior to being tamed by the master lol, she let herself be attacked. Jay, who was also at the lowest point of her life, saw this as an opportunity to do something good before she died. She mightâve gotten mauled by a giant dog, but she saved an innocent life. After getting discharged from the hospital, Jay set her sights on healing. She took Juniper to the vet, fed her, loved her, gave her everything she needed to be healthy again. As Jay healed, she became more in tune with her mind and spirit. This spiritual awakening became obvious when she heard a voice. While sitting in her room, having a hard day and feeling insecure about herself, she heard someone telling her to stop moping and man up. The house was empty except for her and Juniper. She realized that it was the cat speaking to her through the mind. Juniper was infinitely grateful that someone was willing to risk their life for her, and she began to realize just how important Jay was. Having a child to love was so big for her, it gaveher the motivation to start livng again. She watched Jay grow into her best self, helped her find out who she was, and taught her everything about the spirit realm. That leads into present day where the two are attached at the hip. They have each otherâs backs through thick and thin. Once Juniper dies, she comes back as a fox in the zoo adult-Jay works at. They (Dee, Heavy, all their friends) continue living, getting better in each new life until they become the best people they can be and stay together in the afterlife.
Thatâs about it! I love these guys. All my cats and best friends are in Metal Family with me. Juniper was the first. Sheâs based on my cat Lexi!! She has seen me at my best and my worst. My biggest fear is being separated from my loved ones after death, which is why weâre all together after death and Juniper is with Jay in every life. Thatâs how important these guys are to me lol. The psychic communication came from this awesome medium I see who told me to try talking to her. Enough yapping, thereâs the DeeJay-Junie-Friendamily lore
poor toyah...im glad she found a family who can follow her after death and into the afterlife. i wonder if she still thinks about sadie? where'd she go </3 maybe they'll meet again in the actual afterlife?
juni's first words to jay being...STOP MOPING. that's so funny to me, it really sets the tone for their relationship (at least in my mind lolâis that accurate?)
also finding a parental figure in a pet is a really fun spin on what i usually see (which is pet=child). personally i always view my cat as my brother, so i'm really fond of differing dynamics between pets and people <3
YES!! juniper does eventually see sadie in the afterlife! sadie is also on a journey to be her best self! she makes it there at some point lol.
that is pretty accurate. my cat is old-ish. shes like a tired mom in my eyes. she looks and acts tough or irritated but she is super loving! i didnt want juniper to be a grumpy grayson so i just gave her the tough part. she knows jay is strong, considering everything she was going through prior to saving her. her thoughts in that moment were âyou almost ended yourself, and youre upset because of pictures in your notebook? just draw more pictures!â junie knows jay isnt weak and has potential to do good things, so she hammers down whenever shes sad about small things. because of jayâs neurodivergence, she doesnât always see it as helpful, but they get there i swear. she starts to treat jay more gently over time and learns its more effective. she forgets that everyone shes around are still children and she cant be as rough like she was as toyah.
i do feel very protective over my kitty and treat her like a little kitten, but knowing shes technically older than me always throws me off. besides, something about her just tells me that sheâs older than she looks. she seems very mature and experienced in life. thats also why i gave juniper so many past lives.
