I can't help but feel like Glam's diary is going to become a plot point later on
I find it intresting how they even pointed out in a characters answer thing that Glam would like his diary back because he's forgotten what he wrote in it
I was so pleasantly surprised this last episode that I somehow managed to fall even more for Ches and wish him all the happiness and all the best in the world
Let's talk about one of the possible hardest decisions for a friend to do and its aftermath. With spoilers.
This one is even trickier than the Glam one to me because it's just so much. I'm so proud of mi cariño for taking that route and not looking back even when he was in a low place.
I'm actually shocked that Ches seems to be so healthy at such a young age in a certain way. Not that he is extremely healthy, he definitely has some self loathing and lacks care for his own body to the point it may be an indication of a few certain disorders, as well as an history of drug abuse that lasts to his adultier uncle Ches days with his cigarettes (possibly weed). But also not quite...
If we take into consideration Ches' relationship with his mother, that is honestly one of the biggest core foundations of someone, my dude had a genuinely loving relationship with her. It was flawed. Very, very, very, very flawed. But we see clearly that the two of them care for each other and do love each other despite the mental and financial hardships that they deal with. This isn't an excuse or justification for what his mom does, it's simply horrible what she does to him but the two feelings of loving him and abusing him are, unfortunately, very possible to exist in the same relationship because that's how they are... Complex.
That being said Ches was just so real and so right to turn his back at his delulu friend and go for the interview with the dude anyway instead of doubling down and attending to his stupid crush. It is hard to do it, I sure as hell know that it would be a snap to get Ches to be like "Yeah... You're right, we have been through so much together and you helped me with the band..."
But he knew how stinky that shit was. I'm just so proud of him. He was heartbroken, I can tell as much, he was betrayed and even when he is in the other band being famous and well paid off he misses Glam. And I want to make a very strong point of this: He misses Glam. He doesn't seem to feel remorseful over his decision, even though he wonders if he really made the right decision... He still can tell that he has a "good hand" and that sure seems to indicate he chose the path that he knew would be successful for him.
But he still misses Glam, this was a path they should be taking together. And I just know he is isolated from others (mentally at least) while with WATFOS he belonged. He was part of a chosen family and now he is the weirdo band leader that everyone laughs at or gets weirded out with. This might be what makes him regret his decision to leave, not the idea that he was in the wrong for leaving.
This man is simply REEKING self respect in this episode and that's such a hot king attitude. Babe hold on a little I think you dropped this 👑
Also did you guys see his new band outfit?? Fans myself
Anyhow, do let me know if this resonated with what you felt in that episode (or if it didn't) and if you wanna add your own thoughts about it then please go ahead! I love talking about this show sm!
