Silly warm up!

I saw a YT video thumbnail on twitter about LMK, and I HAD to draw this xD Wukong coming out of retirement to address this, smh xD

Ta-dah!! Impulsive sun wukong drawing at 3 am ft. my horrible, horrible attempt at mimicking chinese calligraphy based on an image I found online. Funny thing, as a kid i used to take calligraphy lessons, but i got kicked out because I couldn't focus.

Journey to the west was like... one of my favourite stories as a kid so im actually really glad that so many stories are doing a different take on it. It makes me pretty glad. I like to think there's like... a sun wukong multiverse out there or something (it's gonna be funny).

This was kinda inspired by something i saw once but i cant remember where? Source amnesia... I don't even remember if i dreamt of it for if someone else drew it or something... This is probably why i shouldn't sleep at 3.

And yes, my entire vision was green after drawing this.

I like to think that chuuya secretly donates to animal shelters and never tells anyone. he'll be boasting about how tough of a mafioso he is one second and then quietly covering the medical bill for a one-eyed kitten the next. animals don’t lie. they don’t stab you in the back or expect things from you in return for their love. they’re just soft and small and trying their best, and it hits a part of him he doesn't want to look at too closely. he reads every “thank you to our anonymous donor” update email like it’s classified intel. someone at the shelter sent a picture of a puppy in a cast once and he stared at it for ten minutes straight. he would rather be shot point blank then explain to someone why the photo is saved and favorited in his phone though.
