What I Stumbled Upon On Facebook
Donald Trump’s relationship with the truth.
The expelled OU racists' names are Levi Pettit and Parker Rice. Spread their names. Make them exist in infamy. Make sure they can never get jobs beyond (maybe) working for their parents.

The family of one of the fratties has a website up which notes “We ask that the media and public please respect our family’s privacy as we come together to heal and determine next steps.” They need time to heal, guys. This has all been so very traumatic for them, having their son accidentally out himself as a racist. The struggle is real.
Freshman state Rep. Molly White, R-Belton, left instructions for her staff on how to handle visitors in town for Texas Muslim Capitol Day: Ask them to declare allegiance to the U.S.
Lawl. The Facebook post is still up, and Rep. White is defiant in the face of people speaking out against her.
I'll just leave this here: https://www.facebook.com/TexansforMolly/posts/1610704432493165
Hahaha. I get it: it's funny because you're a racist.
Florida's vigilante spirit, once again in action.
Regardless of the racism that fueled this particular incident, this is why open carry is such a stupid idea. None of us has a neon sign over our heads that proclaim whether or not we're "good guys" or "bad guys" (to use the NRA's binary): if we see a guy with a gun, all we can see is "guy with gun," not his intentions for that gun.
Every guy with a gun is like a Schrödinger box: both good and bad until the box is opened and he either starts killing people or doesn't. The problem, of course, is that not killing people is always the prelude to killing people (since nobody is always-already killing people), so all it takes to create the perception of "bad guy with a gun" (regardless of the guy's actual goodness or badness) is whatever baggage the observer is bringing to his observation.
In this case, a racist white dude saw a black guy with a gun and his racism allowed him to think (incorrectly) that he was opening the Schrödinger box to reveal a bad guy with a gun.
Leo, I support your right to wear whatever style of sleeve on your shirt that you wish.
No, it's not like that at all.
Oh there we go. I was losing in faith in the ability of Twitter to deliver no-holds-barred racism.
You know, I wasn't expecting homophobia to show up here. Racism, sure. But I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at the homophobia: your standard issue Angry White Person is frequently homophobic.
Also, I have no idea what he's trying to convey with his comment. His functional illiteracy isn't very surprising either.
Twitter just isn't as fruitful as Facebook for some reason. Oh well. This has been the only quality Angry White Person I've found so far.
This casting of the NRA as "America's oldest civil rights organization" meme is hilarious and untrue.

You read it here first, folks: Bryant Gumbel is racist against the NRA. And the guy who brought up the non-sequitur of Bryant's race? Totally not racist. Because that makes sense.
Right. Because private citizens owning guns negates centuries of antisemitism.
The logic at work here is amazing.
Bryant Gumbel doesn't like the NRA (fact)
Since he doesn't like the NRA, he must be a lefist. (False equivalence: not liking the NRA is no indication of general political leaning)
Since he's a leftist, he must be a communist. (Slippery slope: there are a wide variety of political positions to the left of center that aren't communist)
Communists have killed millions of people. (Associative fallacy: while those who killed people under Mao's, Stalin's and Pol Pot's regimes were operating under nominally communist governments, communists by and large don't murder people)
Bryant Gumbel is therefore a threat because he is a communist who wants to kill people who disagree with him, and the NRA is not a threat whatsoever. (LOLWUT)
It's like he wasn't taught about proper argumentation in school. Oh wait. He's American. Of course he wasn't.
The NRA apparently is the reason we won the Cold War and don't live under communism. I thought for sure that our huge nuclear program and a crumbling Soviet Bloc had something to do with it.
