[General Info] [Character Pronouns]
Something I don't see commented on a lot is how the detective seems expressingly more suspicious of the maids than the butlers? When they were leaving the police station, one of the maids was saying how scary and intense the detective is (iirc) and a butler responds "Oh, he wasn't that bad to me?"
The Emberton wire also has some elements of misogyny in it, so I wouldn't be surprised if the detective was a misogynist, and just had it in his head from the jump that it *had* to be one of the maids, and Ivory happens to be the most suspicious (this is not accusing any of the actors of being misogynists, but suggesting that one of the characters is maybe that way, especially with the implied time period. Which, I could go on a ramble about how good the historical part of Whitepine is)
.
Bormethius (i hope i am writing it rigth) was truly so scary this episode, honestly is not hard to think he had something against the family prior to ivory arriveing. I mean, from what we know death and tragedy follows that family, from peaple dyeing in the factory, others hopeing the father would die, who DOSENT want them killed?
.
i reckon ivory's going to be framed for stealing something from prince zam's room in ep5... augh i'm just so so worried about what will happen when zam doesn't find bormethius (because he definitely won't, right?). the family could chalk seeing things up to tiredness but if bormethius is out to get ivory (whether that means under suspicion or to blame her or something) then it would be so easy for him to find out where she went (especially if he hears zam calling out/looking for him), take something, put it in her room or something and just wait till she's delivered back to him for more questioning. i don't trust that guy as far as i can throw him!!!!!!
.
honestly i'm convinced that the arg videos we're getting alongside the regular episodes are ivory's dreams every night 😭 we have 1 night per episode unless i'm missing something and they have to fit together somehow.
(i mean i got the idea from the game night in the woods where every night the mc has nightmares with recurring themes and the same sort of storyline?) and i'm pretty sure ivory has trouble sleeping or at least is a very light sleeper considering she got herself up at 6am without an alarm to go play the piano. which would make sense if she's having nightmares and is awake anyway??
.
Oh ok!
WHITEPINE FOUR TOMORROW
"And you are.. Ivy, right?" "Ivory, sir."
Go follow my friend!!! :]
I am asking people to consider the idea of Branzy, Etho, and Ivory being siblings. The order of birth can be debated as much as you want, but just think about it.
All three of them are surrounded by death. No matter where it goes it will follow it seems. Branzy is constantly threatened by it and escapes it by the skin of his teeth in Unstable Universe, even though he left Lifesteal.
Etho can’t really leave it behind in the life series, he’ll still have that sense of being careful and vigilant in Hermitcraft.
Ivory brought death with her to Whitepine..
They’d be great. Two redstoners with their either dictator or quiet maid sister depending on the universe.
I need Pyro so bad holy shit oh my god the way he is nice to Ivory. I would do unspeakable things to this man I need to wife him up I need him
-🐀
I am not posting the second ask /silly
unpopular opinion but i dont think pyro is sick (at least not physically).
this is a man who has suffered the loss of his mother (whether she is actually dead or not, shes no longer in the picture), rejection from his father, and most recently the death of someone close to him. he's probably suffering from an eating disorder of some kind. when i watched the first two episodes that was the first thing that came to my mind, before sickness or poison or anything else.
as someone currently in recovery for an ED, he shows a lot of signs (in my opinion). kind of makes me relate to him a lot
.
Ivory and Pyro are Doomed to forever parallel each other in story 😞 (reference to Kab SMP)
.
The following is a collection of thoughts that got beamed into my head by the grace of no one and not like a well thought out theory ivory and pyro are parallels. I have like 2 actual bits of evidence and the rest is insanity driven. they're both queer and missing an eye. that's it that's the post. the music in whitepine 1 is heavy (mountain ash and cypress especially), it's a weight on ivory's shoulders. there's something plaguing her, a trauma not revealed to the audience just yet (i only just learned about Ebony and am not accounting for that, take my ramblings as one someone unfamiliar with stuff before whitepine 1 came out.). maybe pyro has his own trauma in his past, but if we're following the parallel idea, then his trauma is fresh and new, it's the death of mysti. piano is not a commoner's skill, i'm very curious to see if that skill ever gets explained and if it will fall in line with my little parallel theory. ivory as someone ostracized in some minor noble family, she leaves and gets found by minute. and here is where i trail off and things fall apart. anyways, i will be feeding the delusions and looking out for further things that could fit the parallels between ivory and pyro :3 - 🐇
.
I don't think we'll ever know what happened to Ivory, at least not the full extent of things, let me explain.
Right now the biggest secrets are; who murdered the maid (i cannot for the life of me remember their name rn) and What is going on with Ivory (her past, her scars, her thoughts/actions etc.). We -as the audience- of course want to know who did the crime, but ultimately care far more for Ivory's character and her arcs.
Imo, itt would be a smart choice not to reveal every bit of Ivory's backstory. Let the fans theorise. That's how you get people to stay and be active in the fandom.
Honestly, I'd like to know what others think about this. Share your thoughts!

save me women who are omens and manifestations of doom (ivory being a vessel of the forest)
.
I take back my pyro allegations btw I'll kill and die for him I love him more than anything oh my god I love him
