This isn't necessarily a masterlist, and is instead a collection of the posts I think are most important to understand the AU. Miscellaneous post can be found by searching character through the tags, or just reading through the blog. I have a lot of posts so organizing them all in a masterlist would be impossible.

Rykard sounds like the type of dad that gets given a dog that says we don't need a dog, we should put this dog back, and then is regularly seen being the main manager of the dog who is now dressed in a cute little outfit
This is literally him.
I think the difference between Rennala's and Marika's family is how they express love, and how that shows through the game. We do know that Marika's children have a lot of love for each other, examples are the statues of Godwyn embracing Miquella and Malenia in the Haligtree, or Miquella's and Malenia's whole relationship, or even Miquella and Radagon making spells for each other. However, I think Marika is someone who takes her role as Queen more seriously than her role as a mother. For every moment where Marika is shattering the Erdtree due to the assassination of Godwyn she's locking her omen twin children up in the sewers beneath Leyndell. A major thematic point of the Shadow of the Erdtree is that Marika hides away her dark and unwanted past in order to paint herself as this eternal and perfect Queen. In comparison, Rennala is characterized by her love for children, not just hers. In some ways, she is so blinded by her love for her children that it warps and destroys her mind.
I DO NOT want to imply that Marika is worse because she's a "worse mother" or that Rennala is better because she's likes kids, this fandom is already steeped his misogyny I don't want to contribute to it. What I'm trying to convey is that I think Rennala's children have a stronger connection with family due to their mother. Ranni being the one to save her mother during her boss fight, Rykard having portraits of Radahn in his manor. This even extends further with Rykard and his relationship with Tanith and how it was generally positive. What I'm trying to say is that Rennala's side of the family feels more connected on a family level while as Markia's feel more strained, which it think affects how they treat Dreamer.
Rykard clearly has a lot of care for his family, he offers Tanith a tonic of forgetfulness before he's consumed by the serpent in Mt. Gelmir, and Tanith shows a level of loyalty that, in my opinion, could only be expressed by someone truly in love. It's also worth mentioning that Tanith is from outside the Lands Between, so even when he was still loyal to the Golden Order, he cared more about the ones he loved. So I do believe that Rykard's relationship with Dreamer would be out of genuine care, even if it takes a very long time to express this. He views Dreamer as someone with so much potential, and extension of himself and Tanith, trying to nurture them into a true Royal of the Golden Order, even if he does find himself disapproving with the Golden Order at this time. I also love to imagine that a large reason for why Rykard completely disavows the Greater Will is Dreamers disappearance.
who has the most romantic and parental yandere tendencies
Romantic wise, it's surprisingly Godwyn. He spends a lot of time attempting to court Dreamer, even after his proposal is turned down. He's very driven, obsessed with the idea of him and Dreamer being together until the end of time. His love for Dreamer is so strong that even after he's killed he still dreams of them.
I remember touching on it briefly, but I do think that Rykard and Tanith are very parental. Marika and Radagon operate more like in laws, while Rykard and Tanith fully step into the roles of parents, though slowly. Rykard hates Dreamer early on into their appearance due to them not being blessed by grace, but through pressure from his family he learns to accept them, albeit in the most apprehensive way possible. By the time Dreamer leaves however, he's embarrassingly close to them, and feels bouts of guilt for their disappearance. I think Rykard's genuine love and care for his family (as shown by him having portraits of Radahn in his manor) is what makes him, and by extension Tanith, so close to Dreamer.
Would you say that the dreamer has made the lands between a worse or better place, mixed, or they largely didn’t affect it
- 👁️
it really depends on who you ask. Those who are lower class in the lands between basically worship Dreamer, even after the shattering. They view them and Miquella as the only potential saviors of the lands, and find themselves wishing for Dreamers return even long after they've disappeared. this also includes those like the Dragon Cultists and those who were generally close to the royal family. However, there are a few people who believe Dreamer to be a fraud and the cause of their predicament. Hight class individuals look down on Dreamer as if they were a curse. In many ways, their presence did indirectly lead to the Shattering, so could you really blame them. I don't think it's a black a white answer.
I randomly found you blog and I’ve been obsessed, so I thought I should throw an ask. For my first ask, I’ll guess I’ll ask this. Pre and post shattering, would would you say is the greatest fear of each god/demigod (or at least the ones you want to say) in regards to the dreamer?
Also can I be 👁️ anon?
Pre-Shattering, the biggest fear many of them have is their deeper secrets being revealed. It's not just Marika who has things to hide, it's all of them. It's almost like mutually assured destruction, because they all understand that any one of them could betray the other. They're very careful not to reveal too much because of what it could do to Dreamer. Their fears aren't totally unreasonable either, because when Dreamer learned the truth of Mogh and Morgott's containment, they left fr a very long time.
Post Shattering its definitely Dreamer Ascending. An Age of Dreams would mean the Lands Between is consumed by a never ending dream. It would also mean sacrificing Dreamer's mind for this dream. The Lands Between would basically hinge on Dreamer's endless slumber. It's a terrifying thought, basically hiding the true "Lands Between" and replacing it with a Dream. In truth, most of them are more afraid of losing Dreamer, so they do anything to prevent Dreamers ascension.
I think that when Dreamer was in Yharnam she met Gascoigne and his wife Violet and they treated Dreamer like their child and - At least I did - The music box was a gift for Dreamer.
In my interpretation, the note on the lid is a message from the Old Hunter and his wife to the dreamer. I also think that the lullaby from the music box is one of the few things the Dreamer remembers from his stay in Yharnam.
I think that when she was in the Realms, she subconsciously hummed the melody or played it on the harp/piano, and Marika/Radagon and the Demigods, hearing the lullaby, felt a bit of anxiety, but also nostalgia, as if the remembrance of a lost...
Ngl, it's been so long since we've talked about Bloodborne that I had to reread some of my older posts.
Anyway, a major aspect of Dreamer during their childhood is that Gehrman severs Dreamers connection with the Moon Presence out of guilt that a child so young has the love of a Great One. In an alteration to Bloodborn's canon, this is what causes Gehrman to be stuck within the Hunters Dream, both as punishment and as a way for the Moon Presence to serve as a partial connection to their child. The result of this severed connection is that Dreamer no longer remembers their Dream within Yharnam or elsewhere (which is abused by the Healing Church in order to learn more about their connections with the Great Ones).
Anyway, this would create a really unique relationship that Dreamer would have with Gascoigne and his Wife, because Dreamer is in and out of reality, their memory always fading. It's very sad to the married couple, who likely at this point haven't had their daughter, to be so attached to this child but for them never to remember you. To make memories that are constantly fading. So, I imagine that the creation of the music box is done to almost steady Dreamer within this reality, grounding their mind. It's not a cure to their severed connection, but it does help them retain some memories, or at least remember things that are important, like their sudo mother and father.
It's honestly kinda sad in so many ways, because it's likely Dreamer is really attached to Gascoigne and Violet due to their desire to have a normal childhood and parents, and the two in turn feel as though Dreamer is their own respite turn the Beast Plague. Though I couldn't imagine the jealousy that the Moon Presence would feel seeing Gascoigne and his wife embrace their child in the way they wish they could.
I'm just gonna put this post here in case there are new people who wanna know what I'm taking about.
In Elden Ring, butterflies are a sign of the presence of a curse or an Outer Deity, and the Dreamer, being a "Child" of the Moon Presence, probably has his butterflies too...
These butterflies, Dream Butterflies, which are ingredients for incense/perfume, would be surrounded by a lavender-blue glow and the night sky/space could be seen on their wings...
These butterflies can be found near the Dream Flowers (Which in my interpretation would look like Nymphaea caerulea) these flowers grow where the Dreamer once dreamed his dreams...
Of course, my assumptions and interpretations, which you may disagree with
I always imagined Dreamer having butterflies to represent them in a similar way that Miquella and Melania do. Miquella is represented with the Nascent Butterfly, and Malenia is represented with the Aeonian Butterfly. Dreamer's butterflies are likely different, since they're likely a manifestation of the Moon Presence itself, oftentimes only shown under moonlight since they are so thin. They carry a pale dust on them that is calming, being used in remedies and medicines before ever being used by Dream Cultists. Eventually, during Dreamers many departures, these cultists learned how to mimic the effect of Dreamers powers through these butterflies, often resulting in long, prolonged sleep, with dreams that were so lifelike you could confuse them for reality. These perfumes/incense were so powerful it was easy to get addicted to them before the Shattering, being another contributing factor in Dreamers poor image post shattering.
I cant remember if rykard had rya before or after the shattering? But i feel like either way dreamer and rya could be friends due to her personality, or with how young rya is, she could even view dreamer as an inspiration or mentor figure
Rya is so perfect, i love her so much
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Rya was adopted sometime after the Shattering, since I see it as the only way she would believe herself to be Tanith's daughter.
However, I could see Rya and Dreamer forming a close bond when they return to volcano manor for the short while. Dreamer feels very conflicted about what the Tarnished is likely to do to Rykard, especially due to their past relationship. They hide away in the manor trying to avoid everything, which is where Rya finds them. Tanith has waited for a long time for Dreamers return, pushing Rya towards them in an effort to appeal to them. Rya also feels conflicted, since it's clear what the Tarnished wants to do, but their friendship is genuine, since they're both two people who feel so unwanted in their own minds. Obviously, it's short lived, but those few moments make Dreamer feel actually seen.
Is it bad I lowkey want Dreamer to end up with the Tarnished... Like... 😭
No, I don't think it's bad. It's the reason why I don't really have a canon love interest for Dreamer. I think the Knight vibe that the tarnished gives off is really appealing. The Tarnished is someone who is fiercely loyal to the Dreamer, fighting tooth in nail to bring about their age of Dreams, and then to protect that age, it's very appealing.
(also this is just a little question, but sometimes I feel bad that I tend to neglect the female fromsoft characters, so I was wondering if you guys were cool with me making the Tarnished Female, or if you guys want me to keep the Tarnished gender neutral?).
I don't know If you said it once but what happens to dreamers Body when they travel to the lands between? Is their body still in their world or do they take it with them to the lands between?
And how do varré, blaidd (ignor If you talked about hin once), Millicent, leda, Ansbach, thiollier, rya, bostoc and iji?
Sorry If this is a lot.
Dreamers body stays in their world when they fall asleep, falling into a heavy sleep for those moments. Their body retains most physical changes with some minor changes. For example, if they're burned in the Lands Between, their scar might be a lot more faded once they return back to their body. However, if they were to achieve an Age of Dreams, their body in their world would die and they would essentially become with the self in their dreams.
Most characters to recognize the distinction between themselves and their body, other than Miquella and Ranni, who can tell that reader's body isn't completely theirs.
Hey i was wondering If you would be Kind enough to give a rough Timeline?
I actually do have a timeline, it's on my Guide to Dreamer AU, however since some things have changed I updated it in response to this ask. I'll also copy and paste it here, but if you ever want to know where you can find it, it's on my guide.
PRE-SHATTERING:
(Early Childhood to adulthood): Reader suffers from intense Dreams which cause them to loose sleep. There parent's are worried, so they take reader to doctors, get them put on medicine, but nothing works. This happens for years, on and off.
(Early Adulthood): Reader meets Miquella in a dream they share, during this time they form a friendship.
(From here on out, Dreamer is an adult): Miquella uses his powers to take Dreamer into the Lands Between.
Dreamer meets Malenia, and spends a few weeks at the Haligtree. They form a close relationship with Malenia, and their relationship with Miquella grows.
Marika requests Dreamers presence in Leyndell. They meet the rest of the family, and they are permanently moved to Leyndell.
They start to form a relationship with Godwyn, who slowly starts to develop feelings for Dreamer.
Dreamer starts to communicate with the Omen Twins through Dreams that sooth them. Dreamer doesn't know about their parentage or who they truly are.
Dreamer "disappears" for the first time. They are gone for a few months.
Dreamer returns, back in Leydell, and Ranni enters their dream. Ranni forms a relationship with reader through these shared dreams, and they start to grow closer to the Carian Family. During these moments, Dreamer either stays with Rykard's manor, or at Caria Manor.
While Dreamer spends time with the Carian Family, Godwyn grows nervous out of fear of Ranni, and Marika decides to wed Dreamer to him. Dreamer refuses, and Marika promises to put the wedding on hold until Dreamer comes to their senses.
During all this, Dreamer regularly meets with Morgott within a shared Dream. There, Morgott offers dreamer a sense of comfort, and Dreamer, through persuasion, learns about Morgott's parentage and Marika locking her children in the sewers.
Dreamer begins to contact Messmer through letters shared through the Lands of Shadow, learning more about Marika's misdeeds indirectly through him.
Dreamer confronts Marika, in which she reprimands Dreamer and forbids them from speaking about the situation ever again.
Dreamer disappears again, this time for years.
POST-SHATTERING:
Years later, Dreamer reappears in Leyndell, awoken by the Tarnished. Dreamer, confused and defenseless, teams up with the Tarnished in hopes of helping them traverse the Lands-Between.
This aspect of the timeline is rough due to the depth of the game, so feel free to ask questions about this part.
Dreamer and The Tarnished from a deep relationship, the Tarnished becoming Dreamers sworn protector.
Eventually, Dreamer and Tarnished travel to the Lands of Shadow. During that point, Dreamer is watched (aka stalked) by Messmer, who encourages Dreamer to leave and join him.
This obviously doesn't end well.
Dreamer and the Tarnished find St. Trina, who encourages Dreamer to consume her nectar and through eternal sleep, bring about an age of Dreams.
Eventually, Dreamer is encountered by Miquella in a Dream, who confesses to Dreamer of his love for them, and begs for them not to ascend, fearing for their death.
What Dreamer does at this point is purposely kept vague, due to not wanting to give a canonical end to the AU. Feel free to discuss.
I was going through old asks and I don't think I've seen anyone mention Vyke before? Which is surprising because that guy is an absolute dreamboat. Before I say too much, I'm curious of your thoughts on him :0
It's kinda strange how Vyke is said to be the closet to becoming Elden Lord before the Tarnished, but we know next to nothing about him. I kinda interpret this as no one really getting that close before the Tarnished, most other efforts being very minimal and resulting in little change. Vyke likely got close, but relative to the efforts made by other Tarnished before him.
I mentioned in my last posts that the Redmane are loyal to Dreamer on the bases of their relationship with Radahn and how loyal he was to them. I imagine it's the same with the Ancient Dragon Cult, who were loyal to Dreamer on the basis of their relationship with Godwyn. They are known for punishing those to argue against Dreamers legitimacy within the Golden Order and advocate for Dreamers betrothal to Godwyn. They're a major faction responsible for instilling the idea that Dreamer is someone on the same level as the rest of Marika's family, being some of the few people after the Shattering to still remain Loyal to Dreamer even yeas after their absence.
Now, this is when some timeline stuff comes into question. Dreamer arrives to the Lands Between when Marika is married to Radagon and Godfrey has been exiled from the Lands Between, along with the Tarnished. This means that they're arriving after the battle against the Ancient Dragons and the establishment of the Ancient Dragon Cult. Vyke likely never learned about Dreamer before the Shattering and the Tarnished were allowed back into the Lands. We could say that Vyke learned about Dreamer while traveling the Lands, coming to revere them due to their associatinon with Godwyn and the Cult. It's said that there isn't a known reason for why Vyke followed the Frenzy Flame, so maybe we're to believe Vyke followed the Frenzy Flame believing that it would beckon Dreamer back into the lands.
Vyke is interesting from the idea of him never actually getting to meet him, worshipping an idea of Dreamer that comes from poems and their cult following. He's one of the few in an era where Dreamer is hated to put his trust in them, and perhaps that is why he placed his trust in the Frenzy Flame, loosing hope in a Land that no longer welcomes the worship of Dreams.
I would love to hear your thoughts about him. I originally wrote this up forgetting that he wouldn't ever actually get to meet Dreamer at a "normal" state, so I hope this is still interesting.
how would the elden ring characters react if dreamer vented their frustration to radahn instead of someone like miquella, like dreamer without a filter just talking about what they want?
Oh godwyn, miquella and ranni would be jealous….
I really believe that Radahn and Dreamer would have a close relationship before the Shattering.
It's easy to forget that Radahn is a very smart and capable man. Not only does he study gravity magic, but he's a general of powerful soldiers. It's easy to see the state he is in game and write him off as someone who is very one note, but a lot of what we know about Rennala's children is that they are very smart. As such, I view Redahn as someone who forms a very deep and powerful bond with Dreamer. Radahn is loyal, and his loyalty is something that is never questioned. I've discussed this in past posts, but Radahn will not leave room for questions regarding Dreamer's legitimacy within the Golden Order, and any who do are quickly punished. Dreamer has an army of Redmane Soldiers who vow to protect them with their lives.
Radahn takes any closeness Dreamer gives him with open arms. He is not gentle like his sister or loving like his half brother, but seeing Dreamer choose him, confide him in, in a way they don't do with others, is rewarding. It's akin to the feeling after winning a difficult battle, you have achieved a feat no others have achieved, and now you are winning. Radahn is sensible and realistic, but he cannot deny the smug feeling he gets when he knows things about Dreamer none of his other siblings know.
Hoya it’s meee I’ve just started blogging about my potential fix and wanted to have your opinion on how to create post and etc, I know you do request but I don’t rlly have many ask and I just want to also request a small idea I have, for the dreamer what’s their favorite spirit summoning and how would people react if they were able to since it’s been mentioned to be a sort of rare thing to be a spirit channeled and do you think this would play a role in protecting dreamer in their age of dream?
I'm so sorry for not answering your as soon, life honestly just got in the way and I got distracted. I think it's a really great idea (to share it with others I'm going to copy and past it below rather than answer a separate ask):

Hiya! so i figured out what i want the readers ability to be, its a skill called 'SOUL BROKER' essientally what it does is let them use any & all ability for a time being in which they have as much control over that element as an outer-god themselves, however the negative is that it's always on unless Reader is wearing gloves. however their Title 'Knight Of Elysera & Lucan ' will be due to their patron/outergods that they learn of later on due to the system! but here's a short short telling for the prolouge.
" Ascensionism in it's base meaning, means to rise above to a higher state of being
However, long ago in the dark age's of the land's between, Their was once a prophecy lost to time
Of a knight with [H/C] Hair and armour said to be made of their very soul
A Knight that loved and treated everyone equally and above them, a true [ALTRUIST] beloved
With a sword so clear and translucant it's true material could not be known as it reflected the very area around them making it seem like glass
And a gift of learning, this knight would be the most unstoppable force the land's between had ever seen
But alas, the phrophecy had only been passed down in the shaman village, and as the story goes their shall be only one known surviver
A woman with blonde hair and dressed with black and shimmering gold
her children would not know of this legend until she told them, and therefore the knight would wander throughout the lands between
And their story, starts with rebirth. " Whatcha think so far? i'll write more but honestly i thought this would be a cool intro, not just words with dialouge but like somebody telling a legend passed down instead!
anyways ghost out!

I think your idea is really great, I love the idea of the Reader/OC being an Outer God. Outer Gods are the concept not really explored much within Elden Ring so I think it's a really unique concept.
When it came to how I created my blog, I didn't get many asks originally either. I kinda had to post some of my own thoughts for a bit in order to get people to see my work. It takes a bit, but I promise that eventually people will see your works.
When it comes to Sprit Summons, I don't know if Dreamer would be able to summon sprits, since sprit tuning is a rare ability and something you have to hone. I could maybe see it happening post Shattering, since much time has passed at that point, and that could give them the opportunity to learn sprit tuning. However, I don't see it being something that Dreamer takes up since it would distract them from their travels with that Tarnished.
I had a wee little idea, that I’m fully aware wouldn’t fit within the main story you’ve made, but I just love Messmer way too much, he is my specialist little princess.
I small blurb I have rattling around in my head is that, if Dreamer and Messmer had ever gotten to meet in person, Messmer would’ve been one of the only people to threat Dreamer with a human level of respect. Partially because of his MANY different complexes but also because he’s observant enough to notice how uncomfortable Dreamer is (or at least I would be), constantly being the focus of so many different people. (Marika, Miquella, Godwyn, gossiping nobles, etc) and relate to it. I imagine he’s also been the subject of many rumors due to his curse and his absence from The Lands Between due to his mothers crusade.
Idk I just think they’d be good friends if nothing else. Both could use one.
I agree that Messmer treats Dreamer, at least pre them arriving in the Lands of Shadow, with a lot less adoration than the other Demi-gods. This is largely because he never got the chance to meet them in person until many, many years later, only communicating with them through letters. It isn't until he meets them later while they're traveling with eat Tarnished that he gets attached to them after years of their absence.
I do think that his relationship with Dreamer is more of that of a friend rather than a worshipper. He isn't like Radahn or Miquella, he's not confident enough to clearly lay out his feelings like that. Messmer tries to relate to Dreamer to get them on his side, making them see why Miquella's "Age of Compassion" will destroy the Golden Age his mother created. He tries to remind them of their friendship, the bond they share. It's similar to Miquella in a way, where they each feel as through they understand Dreamer in a way others don't. Miquella understands Dreamer on the basis of their powers, while Messmer understands Dreamer on the basis of their humanity. It's very interesting.
This is different from my original concept here. This is more of an Isekai concept, please tell me what you think about this and feel free to request stuff based on this concept.
This is subject to change as I understand more about the timeline, so just keep that in mind.
Ever since you were young, you've always had trouble sleeping. Dreams were too common for you, too confusing for your young mind. Your parents always tried to help, going to sleep doctors and analysts, getting medication prescribed, even waiting with you by your bed until you finally fall asleep. It was all quick solutions to a deeper problem and as you grew, you started to think there was no solution at all. But eventually you had to sleep. Your body would become exhausted, and one way or another you'd find yourself drifting off.
Waking up was also a struggle. It always felt like you were fighting against something whenever you awoke. Usually, it was your body straining for more sleep. But this time, you could tell it was different. You were floaty and unaware of your surroundings, but in the distance was a figure, soft and far away, but clearly there. You tried your hardest to move, your body straining as you got up. Eventually, you reach an impasse, like an invisible wall preventing you from moving further, but luckily the figure seems to notice you.
The figure, who you recognize as a boy, moves towards you, but reaches the same impasse as you. It was strange, his presence was overwhelming, but he seemed more calm than you. "Who are you?" He asked, but you couldn't respond, you weren't able to. But somehow he understood your plight. "Come with me, dear dreamer" and in a second, everything became heavy and quiet, and you were falling back asleep.
When you awoke for the second time, you were not in your bed, but someplace unfamiliar entirely. The bed you were in was soft, and much, much larger than the one in your own bedroom. It was cold, but the blankets helped keep you warm. "You're finally awake." It was that voice again, calm and delicate. He, and a strange looking woman were standing in the room watching as you fumble.
"Am I dreaming?" You ask, and the boy smiles.
"No, dear dreamer, you are awake." He replied, and for some reason that made you more nervous. It meant you were somewhere else, with people you don't know, they must've been wrong. This was just your mind playing tricks on you like always. But regardless, you had no other choice but to go along with them.
Miquella, as you came to know him, was gracious enough to let you stay with him and his sister Malenia in his home which he called his Haligtree. It was a harsh adjustment, but one you understood as a necessity since this world seemed much more primeval than yours. But Miquella, ever patient, was there to teach you everything, especially about your status as a "dreamer." He said you were connected in a way, being able to travel into each other's dreams and invade their realms. That's how you ended up here, in what Miquella called the Land's Between.
It was confusing, and to be honest you didn't understand most of it, but a part of you believed that Miquella just wanted someone to relate to, he was probably lonely, even though he had his sister. Speaking of which, was a very nice, albeit somewhat awkward person. She was short spoken, and curt towards most who weren't her brother, but she was kind to you. She usually was very distant, being born with an illness called Rot that ate away at her. When she wasn't keeping her distance from you, she was telling you stories of her battles with a small smile on her face. You could tell the siblings like having someone else around.
Miquella, in contrast to his twin, was very curious, about you, about your world, about your powers, simply about you in general. It was strange having attention on you, especially when it was someone like Miquella focusing on you. He was kind, but there was a mystery to him that made it even more interesting. He didn't tend to talk about himself often though, so there was not much you could draw from him. You knew he cared for his sister, and that he was working tirelessly to cure their curses, his of which he only explained a few times in passing. Other than that, Miquella was a mystery to you, and for what reasons you'd never know.
For a while, everything was great with the twins. Until after what felt like a week, when Miquella said that you and his sister would be traveling to go see his mother and father. You didn't realize how much you didn't want to leave until you were forced to do so. Miquella wanted to keep the location of his Haligtree a secret, so much of your traveling was done covertly. When finally reaching the destination, you were shocked to see such a large city. Miquella seemed overall amused by your reaction to everything, but his demeanor changed when reaching the main castle.
You've never met someone as intimidating as Marika and Radagon. They both had this extreme force to them that made it impossible to look them in the eyes. However, they were strangely cordial to you and explained to you, alone might I add, that they knew you weren't of this realm, and that from now on you'd be staying with them. You didn't know how to react, but you knew you had no choice, no amount of arguing from Miquella or Malenia would change their mind.
Eventually, the siblings had to leave, as Malenia's sickness was getting worse. You were struck with terrible sadness, but you couldn't focus on it for long, as you were stuck by either Marika's or Radagon's side at all times. Learning about them and their status in the world, and learning that they and their children, including the two who you spend weeks with, were gods was shocking to say the least. It definitely changed your perception on the two,
Marika and Radagon, while overwhelming, were nice enough. You stayed in a beautiful room in their castle, were gifted clothing and jewelry to match the setting, you truly felt a part of this world, almost like you were losing yourself. Marika specifically spent most of her time teaching you histories of her and her children, of the greater will and its strength. She took no interest in your world or its customs, unlike Radagon, who seemed interested enough, though that might be a facade to keep you from losing interest in him, at least that's what you assumed.
Their other children, more correctly Radagon's children from his first marriage, were definitely characters. They were all pretty quiet, and kept to themselves for the most part. Ranni, his daughter, gave you a weird feeling, something you couldn't describe but keep to yourself either way. Radahn was quiet, but driven like his father, in whom he idolized. Contrary to his brutish behavior, he was smart, and when he did speak to you he spoke of the gravity magic he took an interest in. You tried your best to stay away from Rykard, who was mean and ruthless, often berating you for invading their family. Luckily, he wasn't in Leyndell often, so you were able to avoid him most of the time.
Your time in Leyndell was making you homesick, and tired. It got to the point where you couldn't get out of bed. It worried Marika and Radagon to an extent, but you were usually left up to your own devices. It was getting harder by the day to stay awake and moving and so eventually, you stopped. You closed your eyes and slept, and when you awoke, you were back in your room.
It must've been a dream.

A/n: hope you enjoy, please request anything for this concept.
Sorry for being so inactive on this blog so often, I know I'm horrible. I really wanna get back into writing for Elden Ring again. So if anyone is there, please feel free to send an ask!
This is a strange post to break my hiatus on but I kinda wanna ask this question, do you guys think that Elden Ring's Story is told well?
I've seen a lot of people claim that Elden Ring has no story and I honestly think it's really disingenuous because it's clearly coming from people who don't care to actually engage with the narrative the game is trying to tell you.
I totally understand that the quests are confusing and sometimes poorly executed, it's a clear flaw of the game, but I don't think you have a right to complain about the lack of story if you refuse to do any of them. I think if you're going to skip through all the character dialogue because you're bored and want to go to the next boss you can't complain that the story is confusing. And to some extent, if you're going to go into a game made by a company that has established itself to tell details about the lore through item descriptions and not even read a single one, I don't think you really have a right to complain about the story being confusing.
Obviously, this isn't completely true in every case. I do think bosses like Morgott would be cooler if you knew things about Omen before fighting him in the Capital. However, since a lot of that is told through random items and quest lines, it makes sense that people wouldn't really understand the significance of Morgott and why he shows up so much.
I honestly am just kinda salty that Elden Ring's story gets so much hate when I think it's so cool and amazing, but I also just wish that people would actually engage with the story being told in their interactive narratives (but maybe that's so much to ask of Fromsoft fans).
I'd also love to hear your guys takes on this, I imagine they'd be kinda the same if you're following someone like me on here. I'd also like to know if you guys would love to hear more random thoughts on Elden Ring, I've had some "hot takes" that I've been cooking up for a while.
