˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Teruko likes to dance with her partners, and Whit is a great dancing partner. They took dancing lessons together and made it a date... It ended in the hospital.

Because I did teruwhitrei, like terurei, I struggled with headcanons. I wrote a short story instead! If you want headcanons, wait till the inbox is open and ask again, just specify!

Jesus, that drove Teruko crazy. She chuckled at the time, but that cheesy one-lined stirred up butterflies she didn't even know were there in her stomach.

It wasn't like her to fall easily, no was it like her to fall for something so cliche. What had happened to her?

That was what she thought about when she went to meet Xander in the Computer Lab. Her guard was completely down, thinking about Whit, thinking about his story, how he made her blush.

You shouldn't be behaving so child-like.

Teruko reached out to push open the doors to the Computer Lab when she was spun around. Teruko startled, but didn't retaliate as her instincts once told her to.

Calmly, her eyes met with striking blue ones. After that, an awkward silence. God knows Teruko didn't want to pull away-- Whit's hands were clean and soft-- but she had to, "Is something wrong?"

"No," Whit said slowly, tilting his head. "What're you up to?"

"I was--" Teruko stopped herself. Hadn't Xander told her to keep it a secret? "I wanted to try the computers again. Thought maybe one of the CDS may have a hidden message."

"You're lying," Whit insisted. He grabbed her hand again, squeezing it tight. The gesture made her feel sad for not telling him the truth, but she trusted Xander.

"Teruko... I don't think you should go in there."

"What?" She looked at him, eyebrows furrowing. Though it was hard to be mad when he was this close. "That's not any of your business."

"Yeah, I know," Whit agrees, putting one hand up in surrender. "But I need you to trust my instincts. Please don't go in there. Tell him you forgot or something-- better yet," he started, tone going from serious to teasing. Whit yanks Teruko in the direction of the Movie Screening Room. "You can tell him we ambushed you!"

"W- w- wait, who's we?--"
