Hucklerobby meet cute where Robby strains his back and Dana reccomends him this new physical therapist who recently moved to Pittsburgh.
Robby always follows Dana's advices, but this time he regrets the decision the moment he steps into the practice and meets this Dennis Whitaker.
First, he resembles more a youth pastor than a health professional. Second, are we sure this little mouse has the strenght to do this job? Third, the kid is too pretty and Robby is so damn touch starved, how the fuck he's gonna survive a whole set of therapy sessions with him?
Well, turns out Dr Whitaker knows exactly what he's doing. The kid grew up in a farm - as he informs Robby during the treatment - which is very useful. Because you sure need a lot of strenght to treat people.
Robby is no tiny man, but Whitaker easily manhandles him, and that, paired with his touch starvation, does things to him. Robby is mortified, cheeks bright red as he mutters a pathetic 'I'm very sorry'. Whitaker laughs it off, says it's a normal reaction, happens all the times.
"At least you're not harrassing me." he shrugs.
And then, noticing his concerned frown: "Not all people are respectful. A lot of them seems te have the impression that since I'm paid to touch them, I might as well... you know... go further."
What Dennis doens't say, though, it's that he'd really like to go further with Mr Robinavitch. Not in this specific setting, of course. But maybe after they'll be over with his therapy? So he starts to shyly drops hints...
About how he's still pretty new to Pittsburgh and doesn't know any good place. How he'd like to know better the city. And Robby does answer with uself tips, but he never catches the hints the right way. Never ask him out or something.
Until the very last session comes, and Dennis is desperate because he really doesn't know what to do. Should he be more forward and just ask him out? And Robby too is torn because he's out from the dating scene from ages, and Dennis is so young, maybe he's reading this the wrong way?
And they are lingering in the practice waiting room, both clearly too nervous to make the next move, when Trinity - who's Dennis' roommate and coworker, and had to endure one too many whining from him about his impossible crush - catches the scene and rolls her eyes.
For fuck's sake, Huckleberry!" she snaps, "Mr Robinavitch, since this idiot desn't have the guts, would you please ask him out for a coffee or whatever?"
Robby goes very red, babbles something, and Dennis, who's stare is shooting daggers at her, babbles something back.
You'll thank me later!" she shouts at them while they are leaving, a shit-eating gring spreading on her face.
"I'm so sorry, Mr Robinavitch..." Dennis mutters in embarrassement.
"I'm not." the older man smiles at him, "And please, call me Robby."
