In 1979, the Spirit of Atlanta equipment truck got into an accident while on tour.  The above pictures are the aftermath.  (Notice what it looks like at first and how it looks after.  It was in this moment of potential devastation that the Crossmen, who happened to be going the same way, gave a hand to their fellow corps, starting a friendship that has spanned decades.
