It's Monday!

Working hard

I’m excited for the painting I’m currently working on. I hope to have it done within the next 3-5 days but there’s a lot I want to put into it. I’m probably overestimating my ability at the moment but I’ll deal with that part when I get there. I’m excited for all this creativity I’m letting loose

Schedule

So, in the last 4-5 days I've completed 5 paintings which brings me to six total. I've already posted 2 so at the very least I will be able to post a painting every Monday. The next one is a scenery of sorts

This is based off a photo I took the other night of a friend of mine playing a show here in town. His name is Andy Jones if you want to look him up its pretty easy. Just google Andy Jones reverbnation skull crack. Skull Crack is one of my favorite Andy Jones songs. He also has a couple of pseudonyms. One being Ghostman Hy. So I took Andy, paled him out a bit more and made him levitate. Voilà, there it is, “Ghostman Hy”

So, to start.

I've taken on many artistic projects in the past. I'm a musician(of sorts) and I used to do a webcomic just to name a few(okay, not technically a few, just a couple. GET OFF MY BACK!) Now I've taken up painting.  I don't really know what I'm doing other than trying to make pictures with colors that don't always want to follow the lines I'm trying to make, but whatever. Mostly I just paint on canvas panels using acrylic paints and brushes/sponge brushes. I'm going to try to at least do one a week and will post each of them here. I've got four done already so I'm just going to keep a buffer of at least two painting in case I get behind. So far i've done 2 8x10 and 2....I don't remember what size they were, but they were slightly bigger. I'm not sure when or if I'll do anything bigger than those.
