Fred Rogers ladies and gentleman!

Here are some interesting facts about him:

He basically saved public television. In 1969 the government wanted to cut public television funds. Mister Rogers then went to Washington where he gave an amazing merely six minute speech. By the end of the speech not only did he charm the hostile Senators, he got them to double the budget they would have initially cut down. The whole thing can be found on youtube, a video called “Mister Rogers defending PBS to the US Senate.”

“Certain fundamentalist preachers hated him because, apparently not getting the “kindest man who ever lived” memo, they would ask him to denounce homosexuals. Mr. Rogers’s response? He’d pat the target on the shoulder and say, “God loves you just as you are.” Rogers even belonged to a “More Light” congregation in Pittsburgh, a part of the Presbyterian Church dedicated to welcoming LGBT persons to full participation in the church.”

According to a TV Guide piece on him, Fred Rogers drove a plain old Impala for years. One day, however, the car was stolen from the street near the TV station. When Rogers filed a police report, the story was picked up by every newspaper, radio and media outlet around town. Amazingly, within 48 hours the car was left in the exact spot where it was taken from, with an apology on the dashboard. It read, “If we’d known it was yours, we never would have taken it.”

Once, on a fancy trip up to a PBS exec’s house, he heard the limo driver was going to wait outside for 2 hours, so he insisted the driver come in and join them (which flustered the host). On the way back, Rogers sat up front, and when he learned that they were passing the driver’s home on the way, he asked if they could stop in to meet his family. According to the driver, it was one of the best nights of his life—the house supposedly lit up when Rogers arrived, and he played jazz piano and bantered with them late into the night. Further, like with the reporters, Rogers sent him notes and kept in touch with the driver for the rest of his life.

When will parents learn...

…that circumcision is NOT their decision. It’s your son, but the penis belongs to him. I keep reading these posts today by dumb teenage girls who want their sons to be cut, because it is “normal”. That’s so sad.

People give me so much shit when it comes up in conversation. “But it’s ugly” or “But it’s cleaner” is all they have to say. Both of these statements are untrue.

You have to teach your daughter how to clean their vagina, and so you must teach your son how to clean his penis - NOT just cut off the tip.

One day forced circumcision will be illegal, and that will be a great day.

As a child, from the age of 11, I was teased, made fun of and called names, because I apparently was the only boy in my school class and neighborhood that was not circumcised as a baby. Having been born and raised in New York City, with one of the highest rates of Routine Infant Circumcision only compounded the situation, because it seemed like I was a minority in more ways than one. I grew up feeling a strong sense of embarrassment and shame of being intact, because I was made to believe I was abnormal, and ugly. It is important to note that I never suffered from any infections or other conditions, such as phimosis (tight foreskin) or hygiene related concerns; but because I was never properly educated about the foreskin or the fact that my penis was not only normal, but also fully functional and had many benefits, all I wanted to do was find a way to be “normal” like everyone else. This created such a inferiority complex and insecurity in me that when I was in my early teens, I began to keep my foreskin retracted all the time in order to simulate the image of being circumcised. This behavior went on for years, and only got worse when a girl I was dating at the age of 20 reacted in a negative way when she saw my penis for the first time. From that moment on I was determined to get circumcised when the opportunity presented itself. It took me many years before I finally learn about the functions of the foreskin, and of all the benefits it provides to the penis, both physically and sexual…..and I finally accepted myself, and my natural body just the way nature intended it. Now I’m not only proud of being an intact man, but I have taken it upon myself to teach and inform others about the benefits of the foreskin….ots functions and purpose, as well as speaking out against not only forced, non-consensual, Routine Infant Circumcision, but also speaking out against body shaming, bullying, and the stygmatizing of the intact penis. I am proud to have a fully functional, natural and normal penis, and if someone feels that its not attractive or desirable…..that’s their problem, and their loss, not mine. All I can recommend is that they do the research and educate themselves. Respect!!!

The above is an important story. I’m sure many, many similar stories exist in the lives of those who were fortunate in being left intact when they were born in the very dangerous, sexually mutilating US where ~ 80% to maybe as much as 85% of US-born men were forced to be sexually mutilated  FOR LIFE!

Is this possible?Im 26 & cut and since being a teen my penis skin when soft has slowly been starting to cover my head.When I masterbate doesnt cover at all but the skin moves very easily up over the rim of the head.Could it be going back on its own?

Possibly but more likely you were cut relatively loosely and it is trying to do what comes naturally. Either way.....enjoy it!
