This just in! Ted Bundy has never been glorified or sexualized!! Even when theyâre victims of serial murderers white women have to pointed to and shamed as mascots of protective privilege!!
Hereâs a thought: if Jeffery Dahmer had killed women of any race the murder and rape scenes in this show would be way more graphic if not outright fetishized, as male directors love to do. Young men would be glorifying the him just like they do with every psycho from Patrick Bateman to Andrew Tate.
@truecrimebutnot Hi I read your post about Tj Lane's voicemail. I found this screenrecord on twitter but I'm not sure if this is true (because i haven't heard his voicemail before).

omg the more I look into it, so many spree killings/shootings were inspired by columbine. yet again, proof media frenzy surrounding the reporting of these crimes only makes them more common. i'm always shocked the manifestos and beliefs of these people are made public. or even images of them. if they're not on the loose I wouldn't publicize them tbh. there are people who literally tried to DRESS like columbine shooters before killing people. imagine if these cases weren't sensationalized in the media. it makes me SO mad.

18-year-old Stephen Lawrence was born in Greenwich, London, to Jamaican parents who had moved to the UK in the 1960s. His father was a carpenter and his mother worked with children with special needs. Stephen was a dedicated teenager who studied technology and physics. He dreamed of becoming an architect.
On the 22nd of April, 1993, Stephen spent the day at school before playing video games at his uncleâs house with Duwayne Brooks. At around 10:30PM, they walked to the nearby bus stop to catch the bus back home. Moments later, a group of six white youth started walking towards them, calling out racial slurs. Before Stephen or Duwayne had a chance to react, the pounched on Stephen and stabbed him in the collarbone and shoulder, severing arteries and penetrating a lung. Stephen and Duwayne managed to run away from the scene but Stephen collapsed around 130 yards away and bled to death. Duwayne said that when officers arrived on the scene, they had a very nonchalant attitude. âI got the impression they were repulsed by the blood or just didnât want to helpâŚâ
In the days following the murder, a local gang of five white youths were named as the suspects. They were Gary Dobson, Neil and Jamie Acourt, Luke Knight and David Norris. They had been previously involved in racist knife attacks around the area. Despite the fact that the prime suspects had been named, none were apprehended until weeks later. Detective Superintendent Brian Weeden, the officer who was leading the investigation, told the public he hadnât made an arrest earlier because he didnât know the law in regards to making an arrest under reasonable suspicion. The charges against the five were subsequently dropped citing insufficient evidence.
In 2006, a cold case review commenced and looked at blood found on clothing of Dobson; the blood was determined to belong to Stephen and that it had deposited fresh. According to police, this new evidence was only found because of advancement in forensic science. The initial investigation into the murder was marred by a combination of professional incompetence, institutional racism and a failure of leadership by senior officers. It was later discovered that the inquiry was bungled on purpose, which led to all of the killers evading justice. An inquiry into the original investigation led to the landmark ruling that organisations could be âinstitutionally racist.â
In 2012, Gary Dobson and David Norris were convicted and  sentenced to life in prison after ânew and substantial evidenceâ tied them to the murder. The three other men who were involved in the murder - Jamie Acourt, Neil Acourt, and Luke Knight - were never charged. In April of 2018, it was announced that a national day of commemoration for Stephen will take place every April 22nd.
The thing that gets me about Aileen Wuornos is that sheâs only famous because women arenât violent. All the other âbig hitterâ serial killers had 35+ bodies counts, or would torture their victims in crazy ways, or something memorable and awful like that. But Aileen Wuornos gets put on that list and is called âone of the most cold blooded killers in American historyâ for doing things no one would even acknowledge a man doing.
Like think of the reverse; a guy shoots 7 prostitutes over the course of a year. Would that even get news coverage? Maybe locally, but would he be well known at all? The only thing thatâd be considered odd or âworth talking aboutâ is that he only shot women, and didnât torture, rape, and violently murder them (ex: strangling, stabbing, hunting, etc.) like most male killers do.
Murder is murder, she did some evil shit, but it seems pretty obvious to me that she is only famous so men can pretend women are as violent as them.
A few details for those who donât know:
â˘Her father raped and attempted to murder a 7 year old while she was an infant, her mother was extremely neglectful up until she abandoned her, and her grandfather/adoptive father would psychologically abuse her (treating her much worse than his other children, drowning her pet cat in front of her, etc)and would brutally whip her almost daily, from her early childhood into her adolescence. (Source: Wuornos herself and her childhood friend, Dawn Botkins)
â˘She been raped dozens of times by the time she was 18, by her grandfather (unproven but experts on the case and childhood friends believe itâs EXTREMELY likely), by classmates (older boys at her school had convinced her to prostitute herself at age 11 for cigarettes, earning her constant harassment and the nickname âcig pigâ across the school. Verified by multiple classes), by a family friend (resulting in pregnancy at the age of just 14, after which she was sent to a home for unwed mothers, gave birth to a boy named Keith she gave up for adoption, and was thrown out upon returning home)
⢠14 and homeless, she lived in the woods with other abandoned children, they often slept in forts, or at best in neighbors abandoned cars when they were allowed. (Verified by multiple people who knew her as a child. The whole town was aware that her and many other children lived in the woods, including teachers and social workers, yet no one attempted to help)
⢠Dropped out in 9th grade, after which she became a child prostitute and drifter.
⢠Around age 18 she discovered the decapitated and dismembered corpse of a young girl while trying to sleep under a bridge outside of Chicago. She immediately sought help from a passing trucker who was unsympathetic and drove off without helping. (This event was never proved to be true, but isnât unlikely)
â˘At the time of her execution she was undeniably psychotic, showing little if any understanding of reality. (Source: see for yourself https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9ytpB-lOBQ remember, she had already been sentenced to death and had no reason to lie)
I REPEAT: SHE WAS, WITHOUT A DOUBT, COMPLETELY INSANE, YET WAS STILL EXECUTED (read:murdered) BY THE US GOVERNMENT
â˘Gary Ridgway was convicted of murdering 49, confessed to murdering 71, and is believed to have been involved in the murders of 90+ women and girls, most of who were prostitutes and child runaways. (Source: Himself and his prosecutors)
â˘His victims ranged from age 15 (likely younger as many adolescent âJane Doeâ victims have yet to be identified) to age 38. (Source: ^)
â˘He never showed signs of insanity, just extreme narcissism and lack of empathy (Source: prosecution)
â˘He was never executed. I guess he just wasnât as dangerous.
this always hits me so hard
She always gets into the most evil women list but if she were male she would be indistinguishable from the hudreds of other male serial killers
I think itâs extremely important to note that part of the reason that she has been so vilified is because she was either a lesbian or bisexual. She lived with a girlfriend at the time of the murders (who testified against her in exchange for immunity for robbery charges) and this was a big part of why the case was so sensational. It was not just misogyny, but homophobia that sentenced her to death.
Is i7 jus7 me, or do 7he âshes only famous because women arenât violentâ and âshe is only famous so men can pretend women are as violent as themâ bi7s s7rike anyone else as 7erfy?
Yes dear this post was made by a true crime blog, I would not be able to do this without knowing that 1.biological sex is real and 2.males are more violent, if you want a source read the post again.

About 70 people were believed to have been working when the fire broke out at around 10:35 a.m.
News - Kyoto Animation suffered a huge tragedy today (July 18, 2019). An arsonist set fire to the studio, killing and hurting many of their staff members.
Kyoto Animation (also known as KyoAni) got their start in the early 80s as a support studio made up of mostly women who did in-between/key animation and background art for othersâworks like the original Macross, Time Bokan, Minky Momo, Urusei Yatsura, Kimagure Orange Road, and Neon Genesis Evangelion just to name a few. Today, they are their own studio making their own stories, still with a high number of women on staff, who have a reputation of treating their workers well. A rarity in the current anime industry, unfortunately.
This is a substantial loss for not just KyoAni, but for the anime community as a whole. Iâm waiting on official statements from the studio about any fundraising they may do themselves rather than promoting ones they arenât directly involved in. Until then, please keep them in their thoughts during this difficult time.
âPolice said some people witnessed a man screaming âDie!â as he set the fire at a studio of Kyoto Animation Co.
Police also found knives at the scene. The suspect, 41, who was also injured, was taken to a local hospital.â
This. Is. Horrifying.
Crime experts with the Murder Accountability Project, a D.C.-based nonprofit group that tracks unsolved homicides in the United States, used a web algorithm to map 51 unsolved strangulation cases that took place on the west and south sides of Chicago between 2001 and 2018. The 51 murders have striking similarities: all the victims were women, most were discovered outside in a public place, 76 percent were black, and 75 percent of the crimes had a âclear sexual component,â according to an analysis by Thomas Hargrove, head of the Murder Accountability Project.
Hargrove performed his in-depth analysis of Chicagoâs strangulation cases at the request of WBBN, a CBS affiliate in Chicago, back in February 2019 because his group âhas a knack for finding patterns in unsolved murder cases.â He analyzed information about thousands of homicide victims and the way they died, ultimately identifying 51 cases with strong similarities that are now the focus of this investigation. Hargrove told WBBN that the algorithm he used to map these 51 cases is âessentially a serial-killer detector,â which has been used to help solve serial murders in other cities before.
Chicago detectives started this new investigation under pressure from activists, community organizers, and family members of victims and women whoâve gone missing in Chicago in the past several years. Like many other cities around the country, Chicago has a substantial backlog of untested DNA kits, which many believe could hold the key to finding what Hargrove suggests is a serial killer.
âWe honestly donât understand why itâs not already known that some of these are connected killings,â Hargrove said at a recent hearing. He later explained that the âinability to recognize serial murder is a universal problem called linkage blindness,â according to WGN9 Chicagoâwhich is, um, terrifying.
