âIâve got a whole list of things Iâve been wondering about. Legs? I meanââ He hopped in front. His thought was interrupted but Professor Lehnsherrâs lock down announcement. Fuck, Quentin knew he just lost his connection with deadpool. Now they were really going to be in trouble. Well, if we are already going to be in troubleâŠÂ He grabbed her shoulders and stopped her in place. âWe should go check that out, Jubilee.â
Jubileeâs grin slowly melts off her face at the announcement, and she lets Quentin bring her to a stop. Her heart is speeding up, her hand finding her scar through her shirt as she stares at the double doors at the end of the hall. Well only some of it was a scar, the middle is where it hurt the most. Where it still hadnât healed all the way. Could it beâŠ? She looks to Quentin, and nods without betraying her emotions. âWhy should we be in the dark?â she says with a grin, starting off without him.
Quentin followed quickly. "Man, you should have seen the lockdown I caused at my last school. I nearly had the flatsc--" he began, but the story was just off the the announcement. Quentin frowned. "See this isn't as cool." He was getting really sick of these Apocalypse fanboys. Although last time around he was out of commission, maybe this was a good thing. Round Two of kids versus kooks. Quentin looked at Jubilee. Now she'd really been knocked out last time. "Still up for it?" He said, offering her an out if she wanted it. "Though I must say, I've always found revenge to be the best medicine."
