his good heart. he has went through a lot and is still kind and down to earth. first thing he did when he earned enough money was repay his parents for all that they sacrificed for him; he bought his dad his own garage. and just a few weeks ago he fulfilled his mum's wish of visiting cannes. his family comes first. i also have only ever heard positive things about fans meeting him and emphasising how nice he is, how he takes his time and tries to sign things for everyone and take pictures. he also never held a grudge over lance taking over his seat and remained best friends with him throughout it all. he also wants to help people in need, phoning with sick kids in hospitals and participating in the charity concert of les enfoires.

his humour. he is such a big dork ass loser and i adore how cringy he is without a care in the world. he just enjoys life and vibes, because now he finally is allowed to. (part of me also thinks he didn't have much time being a child once his family sold their house etc., so he is catching up now :'))

his team spirit. i know some people are now gonna yell "but checo and alonso!!!!!" but this is a whole can of worm i am not gonna open here, since este was not at fault 90% of the time. anyways, he always makes sure to praise the team and also doesn't tear them down when things go wrong. he always sticks by them, no matter the highs or lows. he's also always happy when his teammate gets a podium, being there center front celebrating it with the rest of the team. it is also noticeable how much the team adores him, his side of the garage is always hugging him and joking around.

he loves animals. he used to have a dog and now has a cat, and you can see how much he loves them and how much the animals love him back as well. he is like a disney princess, just look at pics of squirrels letting him feed them.

his resilence. he went through a lot to get where he is now, and he is beyond grateful every single day for it. like he said: "i'm here [in F1], so I am happy." he got so much abuse, especially from checo and alonso fans, and not once let that turn him bitter or cold-hearted. he is still the smiley and kind and awkward guy. but of course he will fight tooth and nail for what he deserves, that is how he got here in the first place.
