AKA, the moment Cristina knows.

Not knows-knows in the sense that she’s thinking to herself, “I bet Alberto’s been cheating on me with Ana this whole time.” Her realization isn’t quite that specific.

But some part of her does get, on a fundamental level, and for the very first time, what’s happening. She’s just so heavily in denial that, by the end of the episode, she’s willing to overlook what she’s seen.

Manuela Velasco also does a nice job here…looking at him and immediately looking away, as if stung…then chancing another look just in time to see the way he shyly drops his head…as she tightly swallows and tries and fails to keep a smile going in spite of her slow-growing panic at the thought that she’s never seen Alberto look at her the way he’s looking at the seamstress on the stage.
