Rhapsodie pour un Fantôme

I found this book by accident online and of course had to order it immediately.

It’s completely in French, so I can basically look at the beautiful drawings and that’s it. So the plot really remains a mystery to me. There are several characters I can’t relate and I was a bit confused by modern Erik (though it says Nouvelle histoire du Fantôme de l’Opéra on the cover) in the beginning, also by the fact that there is a woman at his side, who is not Christine.

But for everyone who is obsessed with PotO this book is a worthy addition to their phan collection. It contains many drawings more than shown here in this post.

That’s not the right IRS rule.

$599.99 is the amount below which a business does not need to issue a 1099 to a contractor who provides business services. The contractor still needs to report the income on their taxes.

The correct number for the IRS rule for money that is gifted rather than received in a business transaction is $13999.99–more than that, and the recipient has to pay tax on the gift and report it to the IRS. Less than that, and there’s no taxation or reporting requirement.

If we’re choosing amounts on the basis of IRS limits, give these people $13,999.99.
