When meditating, you’re allegedly in your sixth sense because you changed the level of consciousness in your mind, so your brain waves are traveling at the speed of alpha, theta, and then beta (in which were all named after the letters in the greek alphabet). Consciousness here is never lost just altered. Hans Berger, a German psychiatrist who discovered brain wave frequency, said that just closing the eyes can cause your brain frequencies to intermediately change in between alpha and theta, this is the most accessible way into psychic power!

☽ Jade Spell for Decision-Making ☾

Things needed:

A raw or carved piece of Jade (can be jewelry)

Do this during a waxing or full moon in Libra.

Instructions:

Wear or hold the stone while focusing on the decision.

Chant these words:

Tea for a sore throat

3 parts sage (fresh or dried)

1 part mint (I used spearmint)

lots and lots of honey

a squirt or two of lemon juice, if desired

chop herbs into small pieces (using a mortar and pestle may be more effective if they’re dried herbs). Immerse in boiling water for 5-6 minutes and add honey. Turn off heat and let steep for 3-5 minutes. Pour into a mug, and make sure to include some of the leaf particles– the more of the herbs you ingest, the more healing goodies will get into your system. Feel better soon! xx

☽Connecting with your crystals or stones☾

Whenever you bring your crystal/stone home, always make sure you take some steps to get to know your little gem.

You’ll want to clear it of any unwanted/negative energy. Depending on where you got it, a lot of hands most likely touched it transferring their energy into the stone./crystal.

Get to know your stone, hold it, close your eyes, and feel the energy of the individual stone. Meditate even!(:

Another way to incorporate this relationship with your life is by placing them somewhere within your living space. Try to make them in view because the more you notice your stone/crystal, the more you remember them and that grows the connection.

And last, don’t forget to carry those stones with you, whether you are wearing them on a necklace or bracelet or maybe even in your pocket! But beware of the things in your pocket that may hurt or scratch your stone.

☽ little tips for witches ☾

here I will leave some very useful tips for those who have been in practice for some time, as well as for beginners. I hope this text will illuminate and help each one on their way! ✨

• to do energy cleaning in your home, put in a glass: water, coarse salt and charcoal. position it behind the entrance door.

• bury egg shells in a pot or in your home garden to ensure abundance and fertility in your home.

• do not put the ashes left over from the incense out, they can be reused in making the black salt.

• burn dry rosemary to attract protection, purification, psychic abilities and openness for healing.

• to attract positive energies to you, spread several mirrors around your home, just avoid those with sharp details on your edge. they also help to clear the mind.

• to ward off any bother that is bothering you, write the key words of the situation on a white candle. light the candle and ask the fire beings to burn this evil that you want to destroy.

• spread blackheads under the bed for protection during your sleep.

• make a wreath with chamomile flower and hang it on the door to protect the environment throughout the year from physical and spiritual damage.

• use cinnamon to improve your individual skill with prophecy through divination, channeling and working with oracles.

• when making your own oils, use olive oil and dried herbs of your choice.

• press and store rosemary leaves in your books. this will increase your wisdom during your studies and your memory, making you learn more easily.

• burn some thyme on your altar to clean up your magic space. thyme when burned with incense strengthens psychic power.

Lavender Lemonade

Nothing beats the summer heat like a tall glass of ice cold Lavender Lemonade! Not only will you love the refreshingly delicious taste it has to offer, but you may find yourself more relaxed since the mere scent of lavender has been shown to reduce anxiety. In addition, the odor from essential oils that are released from lavender blossoms may provide migraine and insomnia relief.

Ingredients

1/4 cup Dried Lavender Flowers

2 cups Boiling Water

1 cup Honey

1 tray Ice Cubes

1 cup Lemon Juice

5+ cups Filtered Water

Instructions

Put the dried lavender flowers into a bowl and pour 2 cups of boiling water over it.

Add the honey and then allow it to steep for about 15-20 minutes.

Strain out the lavender flowers.

Add ice cubes to a 2-quart pitcher.

Pour the honey and lavender mixture into the pitcher.

Add the lemon juice and top it off with cold filtered water.

Stir and enjoy!
