if there was anything the vampire hated more it was the large gatherings of people, if anything he would choose to never have giant festivals like the one happening soon. too many people meant there would obviously be accidents and injuries and just bad things all together, and maybe he was just being grumpy like usual but he hated it. when he heard the chime of the door open to the book shop he glanced up from his book, face blank, “we’re closing for the day, festival things,” his voice was just as blank as his face, “you can try to come back another day,” he shut the book he was reading and placed it on the desk infront of him, raising a brow at the other.

Jax could only arch up a brow of his own in response to the greeting his presence in the bookstore received. First that pretty little wolf back at the magic shop, and now this guy. “You know --I’m starting to think this charming little town isn’t exactly know for it’s customer service.”

silas could feel the excitement in the air from the festival, he wasn’t necessarily accustomed to the reasons for the festival but it was still exciting to the nephilim nonetheless, he did always like to have fun. even the club was emptier than usual which gave the chattel some time to wrap a robe around himself and venture over to the bar to try and steal some cherries. he had leaned himself over the counter to sneak a few and jumped as he heard a voice come from behind him. he turned with a cherry still in his mouth, eyes wide as being caught. he bit the cherry off the stem and smiled at the other, “sorry, didn’t expect anyone to come in, everyones all busy preparing for the festival and all.”

Being his first day in town, Jax decided to do some sightseeing. And naturally, the man made the local strip club one of his destinations. He had heard nothing but praise for the joint, and to say his curiosity was piqued would be an understatement. Unfortunately as he made his way inside the hopefully disreputable establishment he was disappointed. Not that the place wasn’t lavishly decorated and the vibe was very much up to his standards, but it seemed pretty dead at the moment. Probably due to the event everyone in town seemed to be raving about. And it was the figure currently leaned over the counter that caught his eye and had him heading towards the bar. 

“Think you could get me a bourbon while you’re back there.” He said, startling the younger male who promptly turned around to face Jax with lips wrapped around a fleshy cherry. “Yeah, guess it’s on me for coming in on a holiday.” His lips curved up slightly before he nodded towards the shelf of bottles behind the bar the blue-eyed male was just raiding. “Seeing as how I won’t be getting a lap dance today, perhaps I could at least get a drink?”

“Shops closing early.” Kora called from one of the back rooms of Enchanted as she heard the bell over the door chime. Walking back toward the front of the magic shop, the chattel stopped toward the front desk and idly lifted an old, decretive knife that had probably been used in a sacrifice or two many years ago before leaning back against the wooden counter. “The fireworks start in a couple hours.” Not to mention the full moon had her too on edge to man the place alone.

Of course the warlock made the magic shop his very first visit after his arrival to town. He wanted to know what kind of wares they carried, and wanting to take advantage of the full moons and consequent heightened powers, Jax needed a few materials for a ritual. Hopefully he would be able to find some decent goods in the place. And boy, did he ever. A pretty little thing wielding an athame greeted him as he stepped foot inside, bringing a smirk to his lips. 

“Then I recommend you meet my needs promptly,” the smile deepened at his purposefully suggestive words. “Wouldn’t want you to miss the fireworks.”
