If you can recall, when you did first start drawing? And are there any stories in particular that inspire you? Love your work lots hope you're having a good day. :)

I think I started drawing when I was a little kid. I don't even remember picking it up, it's just been something I've always really enjoyed. When my parents would take me to bullnanzas and rodeos as a middle schooler, I'd draw all the horses there.

Also hmmm, I have a lot of stories I look up to and draw inspiration from, so I guess it depend on what kind of inspiration you mean! Lately I've been really into listening to fantasy books while I work on projects (The Gryphon King, Robert E. Howard's Conan the Cimmerian Barbarian, The Jasmine Throne, etc.). Some of my bigger art inspirations are E. M. Carroll, Zao Dao, and Käthe Kollwitz. When it comes to writing I take a lot of inspiration from the lyrics/poetry in country/blues/rap (Lupe Fiasco, Mobb Deep, Johnny Cash, Dua Saleh, Lorne Green, Adia Victoria). I like anything southern gothic or anti-nihilism; Eve's Bayou and EEAAO are some movies I enjoy even though I'm not a huge movie person.

That's a lot of stuff to throw into a post, but they all inspire me. I hope I answered your question somewhere in there, haha.

The situation in Gaza is dire due to shortages of food, medicine, and medical equipment. Hundreds of thousands of wounded and sick people are suffering because of the siege, and my father is one of them. He suffers from many problems: arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure, back pain, and cancer. My father is fighting for his life under the siege and the lack of all medical supplies. I don't want to see my father die before my eyes because of this.

Do you ever consider putting your poetry together into a book? I ask because I just read the deer mistook my headlights for stars one and it was insanely beautiful and it deserves to have a physical spot on my bookshelf

I don't have any physical books out yet, but ideally one day I'd like to make a chapbook.
