Tristan stands over the frame of her room with quiet demeanor, eyes visualize her over the small crack of the door, giving him only a peak of her frame, red hair falling through her shoulders in perfect cascades that cause him to just admire the beauty of his sister in all of her quiet calm. Finally, hand pushes the door open enough to allow himself inside, green wicked eyes finding her with ease, the tease of a smile on his lips as he finally speaks. “You left the party early, sister.”

It had been awhile since she had actually had a chance to enjoy something. Deciding she was owed, Camille left work early to watch the parade of brightly costumed people move throughout the Quarter. It was hard not to get caught up in the festivities, and she was smiling brightly when he stepped into her path.
Her smile died instantly.
Camille took a deep breath, taking him in. He seemed polished, well manner, yet there was something about him that unnerved her instantly. “Are you so kind as to warn me? Or is this a promise… Mr. de Martel?” She asked, putting two and two together.
"Ah, so you know me, then again, I heard you had a chat with Lucien Castle." The name of the man is spoken with nothing but disdain over both name and man, in Tristan's eyes, Lucien was nothing but the servant boy who met the end of his whip more than one time. The servant who had dared to even breathe close to his sister. The smile on his lips lingers more than one would like at the thought of harm over Lucien before he proceeded to speak again.
“A warning, but I am no stranger to fulfill it if you keep insisting.”

“Ah, yes, Niklaus and Lucien.” The names rolled off her tongue so smoothly. They were both very familiar, and she knew just how much that irked her brother. One more than the other, but neither pleased him. There was never a man who did. According to him, no one was good enough for her. No one but him. “Yet, even with them parading around the city, here I am dancing with you.” She looked up at him once she finished talking, giving him a teasing smirk. She was not lying. She could have been out causing trouble and meeting with old flames. But she wasn’t.
Pressing a gentle, yet also firm kiss on his cheek, she returned her head to where it rested before. She’d always enjoyed the closeness between them. They had always been like this, and even on their worst day, it never stopped. Nudging his neck with her nose, Aurora added, “Well, brother, I do believe the safest place for me is here. In your arms.”
"Perhaps you learned your lesson." That no man was ever worth of her presence but him, equals in many ways and different in others, no man matched his sister in his eyes as perfectly as he did on his own twisted way. It was no secret on his society and in many others' eyes that Tristan's devotion to Aurora went beyond normal brotherly standards.
The kiss leaves a lingering warm over his cheek that he enjoys greatly, though his jaw tenses at the nudge on his neck and the grip over her back is tighten, as if to bring her closer as much as he could. "Then I shall do my finest efforts to keep you there. No harm will come to you." Tristan speaks with a small smile lingering on his lips as he breathes in the familiar perfume she often wore, the hand on her back moving up, ghostly fingers dancing on the bare skin of her shoulder.

The smile on his lips is evident, as he simply stares in wonder at the other, flicker green eyes observing every inch of her face in hopes to get a proper reading of her. "Collateral damage happens when one is at war." And his words sound more like those spoken by the hybrid than his own sire, but it was his true belief.

None of the prophecies she kept hearing of scared her. She knew exactly how her life would continue to be, and that was by her brother’s side. Even when he doubted her. “My motives? Can’t a girl simply want to be with her brother? Without the company of monks?” It was all said in the sweetest of tones, moving her head closer to his neck, her nose softly brushing it.

Muse A and Muse B despise each other. The mere sight of them at work/school/local establishment turns their stomach into knots of rage. More than eye contacts sends them into wild, barbarous jeers on everything from their clothes to the way their teeth are shaped.
One day, their work/school/local establishment, decides to hold a masquerade ball for charity and the like. Muse A and B, deciding it would be fun, attend. Separately, of course.
With their masks on Muse A and B become completely different people, their true selves, and the chemistry is incredible. They dance and talk and even kiss at nights end, all like a fairy tale. But as the clock strikes midnight, as it were, they both have to go home with promises to meet each other again.
But both are afraid that the fantasy of the night won’t live up to reality, and their dream person won’t be or think they are such a dream anymore in the day light. Conflicted but still interested, Muse A and B agonize over seeing the other again, all the while unaware that their ‘true love’ is the person the seem to hate.
Option 2: Muse B has always been secretly attracted to Muse A, but their hostility has always made them not act on their feelings. The ball and the masks gives them the courage to act, but they are heartbroken to find out that Muse A has no idea it was them that night.
Option 3: Muse A is aware it was Muse B, but it too afraid to say anything.
