he smiled , again thinking about brienne at her mention , and all the things she undoubtedly will accomplish now . a true knight , she was . a proper example to follow . he could only hope he'd be half the knight she was for winterfell , for sansa .
his cheeks warmed as she spoke . he could only hope it wasn't noticeable on the surface in the dim lighting the torches provided , though he couldn't be too sure . it was dim , but still light enough for pod to notice her every feature . the soft waves in her hair that just yesterday were braids . the faded wine that stained her lips during each celebratory toast made during dinner . the subtle flicker of the flames reflecting in her eyes . perhaps the torches lit up the room just right .

soo , i tend to underestimate myself a lot when it comes to choosing muses for myself. i am by no means a perfect writer , but in my head , i am much worse than what i actually am lmao . that being said , this multi is an open space for me to give different muses a try . so if you ever have a muse you're lacking interactions with , and based on my writing other muses you think i'd do a decent job , do tell me ! i'd love to try new voices and also plot that muse with you <3
since this is my muse trial blog and pod has been so heart eyes to write ..... maybe i can try other male muses too but ๐ WHOMST
๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐บ๐ถ๐น๐ฒ ๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น , sansa cannot help but recognize the feeling of ease podrick brings out in her. they had traveled together extensively when she had managed to escape ramsay , and he and brienne never truly left her side ever since. he was different than most men in her life , gentle , soft โโโโ never over bearing with desire to make his presence and thoughts known. it made her feel secure in a world where men seldom did not.
his words surprise her , for perhaps sansa had grown accustomed to people leaving. loneliness a feeling she had grown to regard as a friend in this new world of hers. as he fumbles through words , her head cocks to listen , though his final question is what truly surprises her. ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐? she cannot help but feel unworthy of such loyalties , though part of her cannot deny that she'd relish in this either.

โ no , it's alright , your grace . you may call me pod . โ after all they'd been through , it felt wrong to hear such formalities coming from her . they'd experienced things he'd doubt they'd ever discuss again . things that , whether they liked it or not , bond them for life .
the tension in his shoulders returns at the mention of brienne . they'd also formed a bond he could never form again with anyone else . but she was gone now , serving the kingdom of her choice . he would always hold appreciation for her . miss her even , perhaps he'd find the time to write to her , but their time together had ended . โ ser brienne made her choice to serve under your brother's kingdom . her oath was to keep you and arya safe , and i believe she has honored it . now she's off to be the knight she was meant to be . โ
it came with such ease to speak of brienne and her worth , but opposite when it came to himself . he wobbled slightly while still on his knee , having to catch himself as he processed her question . he stood as to regain himself , putting his sword away . โ i think it important i speak plainly now , your grace . i hope i do not offend . โ pod took a brief moment to gather his words , and then his shoulders loosened . โ i lived in those six kingdoms all my life . i served for them , i almost died for them . but they did not return any graces to me . i became a knight here , in winterfell . and i have never felt my purpose more than since being here , in your kingdom , with you . since the day we crossed in those woods and your reign truly began . โ
