Quick Update

Hey, a while ago I started translating Squirrel Nuts by bkub, so there’s that. I’ve been slacking a lot recently but I’m going to pull my finger out of my arse for the billionth time and get shit #done. Expect volume 6 of Plastic Nee-san tomorrow or the day after that!

Oh yeah, and Teekyuu isn’t dropped quite yet. Forgot to mention that like six months ago.

Regarding Teekyuu translation

I haven’t updated Teekyuu in “““hella”““ long time so it’s understandable for people to think I’ve dropped it. I’ve been very busy with university so I haven’t even been able to update Plastic Neesan once a day, which is a quarter of the length. On average, an regular six page chapter of Plastic Neesan takes me an hour and a half to scanlate so god knows how long Teekyuu takes (pardon the alliteration)

Well, turns out, in my absence, someone else has picked it up and at a much quicker pace than me. I’m in contact with the guy about whether or not he’s more into it than me and chances are he is, and who am I to say that he shouldn’t do something he likes because I also did it? I’ll let you know later but chances are this series is getting dropped

Schedule changes

I started university recently and I’m going to be a lot busier from now on so I won’t be able to release as many chapters as I used to. I’m going to try my very best to release at least one Plastic Neesan per day, though. Hope you understand!

Teekyuu Translation Begins!

I’m baffled by how absolutely nobody has translated this yet, considering the anime’s popularity. Well, I guess I’m about to find out, aren’t I?

I’m going to be updating this at a slightly slower rate than Plastic Neesan because I started this entire thing so my friend could read more Neesan but also the chapters are much longer, harder to translate and there’s less of them. Either way, I hope you enjoy reading it!

Plastic Neesan Volume 2 Complete!

It wasn’t all that long ago when [+/plus/plas]tic Neesan scans were SO GRACEFULLY revived by me against my own will. This is my first time scanlating anything and it’s all done by myself so there’s probably a lot of errors but who gives a shit.

The feedback this got is incredible, thank you all very much for the kind words, especially that one guy on Batoto who’s reading this gag manga and wondering who’s fucking who. I’m very glad you all seem to like this, it makes all the tens of minutes I’ve spent worrying about how to translate obscure Japanese culture references nobody knows into things that are actually funny (or thinking too hard about whether or not a phrase is too British) totally worth it! So good job!

Anyway now that I’ve moaned quite enough about myself this is the thing you came here for, you dork: Volume 2

Tumblr I guess

Other scanlation groups have Tumblr so I decided to straight up copy everyone else. Expect shit to be here every now and then. Currently I’m translating Plastic Nee-san and at the rate I’m going having download links for every chapter will be a waste of everyone’s time and bandwidth so I’ll do releases here whenever I finish a volume. I’ll still be updating Batoto, obviously.

I can’t decide if I will translate the chapters that have already been done so it’s easier for people to download the whole thing, but I’ll cross that bridge once I catch up to it.
