This is the 💣💥💣💥! Grabe ka lami! Sobrang sarap! Insanely good! 😢 The chocolate is so rich, with my favorite bittersweet flavor. It stays true to how a chocolate cake should taste like. And the small kick of wine that gives you a warm feeling right after just seals the deal. I've always wanted to taste this but their Pasig and QC stores are so inconvenient for me. So when I saw in their IG account that they were selling at the food fair today at Uptown Mall in BGC, I did not hesitate. Truth be told, my only business in the mall was to buy this. I was probably there for just 30 minutes max (I am mall-phobic, haha.) I just had to head home right away to devour this creation.  "Oh yes kaibigan mo ako, kaibigan mo lang ako... And I'm so stupid to make the biggest mistake of falling in love with my beshie!" (Sorry, I just had to use this quote. Don't worry, I will make it relevant. 😂) I made a short solo trip to Manaoag and afterwards hopped in a van and went further north. When I got to the city, I decided I didn't want to ride the taxi nor the jeepney, unless needed. So, I found myself strolling under the midmorning heat, looking for whatever that fancies me. While I only had few places in mind in my ever-changing itinerary, my favorite part of the trip was this one in Burnham Park. When I saw these swans, I decided to take the ride as well. This was actually just a photo op as I was advised to take the larger but more stable boat pedal. So I leisurely pedalled through the water, turned on my Spotify. I was thoroughly enjoying my "trip", much to the surprise of my neighboring boat passengers. I realized right there and then how I must have looked, alone and bopping to Beyoncé. Here goes the funniest part: Everyone just had a lot to say to me. "Aaaaaaw." - no, he didn't break up with me. "All by myself."🎤🎵 - alone rather than hear your voice. "Ma'am, ano po nangyari sa inyo?" - I had a minor accident as a child and here I am gleefully wanting alone time. "Miss, wag kang tatalon sa tubig, ha?" - this I laughingly replied with, "Hindi naman sir, pero sabihan kita kung sakali man." "Kaya mo yan!" - hahaha, thanks for the vote of confidence! Aaaand somebody actually took a picture of me while I was not pedalling to let the boat just stay afloat in the middle of the water. Now where's my damn meme? 😉 But my favorite audience was a little girl around 7 years old. She was with family and their row boat was a few feet away from mine. She was openly and smilingly staring at me. I bet she wanted to paddle their boat as well. So I gave her my biggest smile and a secret wave. And showed her my "expert" pedalling moves. Haha. Someday little girl, you too will do things on your own. Without Marvin. SEE WHAT I DID THERE?! :) Ps. Sorry for the bad pic, the man was wearing shades when he took this. 😂 (at Burnham Park)
