Jake never has either, he just chooses not to post his relationship which is a choice many people make. But he doesn't care that we know Jita exists or is seen at shows or in the background or in other peoples posts. Same with Danny he never hid Mackenzi. If Josh had a girlfriend we know he wouldn't post her but her identity would be known because, lets face it, its not that deep. You dont need to go to CIA length cover-ups for a singer in a bands girlfriend. Its none of our business who they have intimate relationships with. But anyone they share their lives with on a long term commited basis will be seen and known amongst friends, family, their team, fans who see them out in the wild etc etc. Theres a difference between actively hiding girlfriends and just not making public declarations.
