I MISS THE GROUP SO MUCH]
Fire Emblem According to JT, Part 2: Mystery of the Emblem

Rena: Fairly sure it's supposed to be "Priestess"
: From a grammatical standpoint.
Navarre: Another of the She-male variety. Can't tell.
Merric: I wonder if he magicked his hair into its current color?
Mathis: What did he do to his hair!?
Hardin: The Ottoman.
Wolf: That better be a woman.
Sedgar: How and why do they color the armor?
Roshe: Again, I cannot discern the gender.
Vyland: How do hair? It looks like he has a brick on his head.
Wendel: He's the Pope! Wait, Macedonia?
Ricardo: *Generic Spaniard noises*
Bantu: The fuck's a mamkute?
: "You speak that language. The language of the sushi rolls!"
Caesar: Gaius Julius.
: "Spelled G-A-I-- Oh, so you do speak Latin."
: *Refers to Gaius* (Remember, he saw little of the names for the Awakening post.)
Raddy: He's like a Japanese Scottish guy. "Laddie".
George: TF2 Sniper. Bloody fruit shop owner.
Maria: She reminds me of Tea from Yu-Gi-Oh.
Minerva: They're forgetting how genders work again.
Linde: The most identifiable to any gender.
Midia: You can't not have a paladin.

Astria: They're missing a "U", and it's called Austria.
Palla: It's like a pompadour that got lazy.
Catria: The headbands, they don't stop.
Arran: What's wrong with his skin?
Sampson: Just "Hero", he was just born that way.
: At birth they were like "It's a hero!"
Chainy: Oh, the fanfiction, especially with that name.
Est: He's the something- est.
Chiki: I wonder if that's a definition of her personality?
Lawrence: We've finally found an eyepatch.
Ellis: "Priestess", it's grammar. (After being told it's Marth's sister) She looks manlier than him.
Modorof: Pretty Russian.
Nina: Code Geass. Reminded of the one scene with that table.
Gato: Domo arigoto, Mr. Roboto.
Jiol: I have the feeling he's a bad guy.
Camus: Less like a Paladin, more like a Prince.
Misheil: The King of Macedonia. Strangely devoid of Balkan features.
Garnef: He doesn't look anything like a bishop.
Medeus: Are his eyes red? He's the bad guy.
[I have a feeling i'm going to be back on here, along with my Caeda soon

Reunion +Merric-Marth+
A lone mage stood in a large field, his eyes closed as a gentle wind blew past. The day was nice and the weather warm, but many questions still filled his mind. Where was he? Why was he here? It wasn't Archanea... so what purpose did he have here? How can he return home.
Where... where were his other friends?
As the wind subsided, Merric opened his eyes and stared off into the distance. The whole time he was here, he hadn't seen anyone he recognized. It saddened the boy honestly. Sure, he had met another, so he knew he wasn't alone in this place. But, without someone he recognized, someone he knew, it felt like he really was alone.
Letting out a silent sigh, he closed his eyes again as another wind blew through. His mind cleared instantly as it hit his body, those thoughts disappearing. He'd just need to give it some time. Perhaps he'll find a buddy of his soon enough, like Elice or Marth... heck, even Ellerean would be well recieved by him.
The sounds of footsteps went unnoticed behind the mage went unnoticed.
+Merric-Ike+
He nodded to the mageâs words, âYes⌠sounds like what happened to me, too. â Pales? Archanea? He couldnât remember hearing of either of the two places. Lightly he tapped his foot, raising a hand to cover his nose a bit. âYeah- suppose itâd be better to go somewhere elseâŚâ
Ike took a couple steps forward, before looking back. âIâd still be interested to hear about Archanea. Also- Iâm Ike⌠Ike of the Greil Mercanaries,â he wasnât sure if the title would mean anything in this place, but the title was tied to him now. âI was in a place called Gallia.âÂ
Questions sprang up to his mind as he looked around a bit, it wouldnât hurt to ask any, he reasoned. âDoes your land have any Laguz in it? What area of the continent is it at?â
So it looked like both of their situations were similar; both were sleeping and woke up in some foreign land. What were the odds.
Noticing the man step forward, Merric glanced up at him once he started speaking. "Oh, well i'd be glad to satisfy that interest then, Sir Ike." He held his hand out before continuing the introductions. "And my name is Merric, a Wind Mage from Khadein. 'Tis a pleasure to meet you." Despite becoming curious about the Griel Mercenaries and of this Gallia area, he decided to save those questions for later. Following alongside him now, the mage raised his hand and placed it on his chin.
"Laguz? I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that term. I'm going to assume however that you're speaking about species, and I don't believe so. Humans and dragons, more specifically Manakete, are ones that roam our lands. They typically live around Dolhr." The boy looked up at Ike and blinked. "What are Laguz?"
[Shoot. Got caught up in work and a different roleplay account I forgot to come check this one.Â
Anyway, so far I owe replies to Ike and gotta make that starter for the quest with Elincia! i'll get to them as soon as I can omg]
[Aah, would anyone like to do the 'Lost Dog' quest with Merric? I only have one RP going and I think i'd like to get another going, and that quest seems interesting enough hehe]

wielderofexcalibur:
Upon reaching the village, the young mage was quickly greeted by the faint smell of cow manure. Merric waved his hand in front of his face a bit, attempting to waft away the smell as best he could. Finding himself unable to completely however, he stopped and instead turned his gaze around, attempting to ignore the foul stench. It was still relatively early in the morning, but there were some farmers out working in their fields, along with many cattle in some areas.Â
Unable to find any familiarity with this farmland, he decided to see if any of the locals could give him some well needed information. Just as he was about to head over to nearest farmer however, Merric heard a voice from behind. He turned around to face the source of the voice and blinked.Â
The man who stood before him was rather tall and muscular, garbed in eye-catching gold-rimmed blue clothing and a cape. Even seemed to be a swordsman. The more he looked at him, the more he found the man to have a small resemblance to a friend of his.Â
âOh, my apologies, but Iâm afraid I donât know the answer to that,â Merric began, placing his hand behind his head and rubbing it slightly. âI was trying to figure that out myself. I⌠Nothing here seems familiar to me in the slightest. If anything, iâm lost.â
âBlastâŚâ His gaze went from Merric to the village, looking around. With the abundance of farmers it could be automatically assumed to be away from the capital⌠whatever capital it might be. The area was also peaceful, which was a pleasant change. He looked back to the Mage again, who after observing the area was probably a bit out-of-place like him, he guessed.  âIâm lost, too, as it seems⌠You wouldnât know country this is, then?âÂ
As he talked he carefully checked his belongings, he had weapons, vulneraries, and a bit of pocket cash, but not really anything outside of that. He could survive off that if he needed to, he didnât have Sorenâs budgeting skills maybe, but he could work it out somehow. Wearily he let out a sigh. âBlastâŚâ
"I'm afraid not," the Mage began, shaking his head slightly. "Just last night I was home in Pales sleeping, and when I woke up I somehow ended up here." Merric raised his hand up and placed it on his forehead, letting out a small sigh. "It has absolutely no familiarity to me. I don't even think i'm on Archanean soil anymore."Â
He noticed the other man begin to search through his things as they talked but paid little heed to it. Instead, the foul stench of the manure began to flow through the air again and Merric ended up having to cover his nose with his sleeve. "Augh.. This area is wonderfully peaceful, but I could definitely do without that foul odor," he muttered, annoyed that his plan to ignore it had failed. Trying to wave the stench away, he glanced back up at the swordsman.Â
"So it seems we both have little to no idea on our current whereabouts. Fantastic... I take it you're not from here as well then. May I ask where you are from?"
+Merric-Ike+
There was nothing in particular to wake him- no drifting scents of food, no shouting or clamor that was generally the âusualâ of the base on any given morning. It wasnât the clanking of armor or the jovial shouts of the other mercenaries, but the chirping of birds that reached his ears first when Ike finally opened his eyes to the morning light.
His vision a blur, he vaguely wondered why it was so bright and if someone had come in and opened a window while he was asleep; this thought was soon negated, however, as his vision refocused itself and he realized he was actually not at the fort after all. Was he dreaming? His hands gripped at blades of grass, pulling out several and dropping them back to the ground as if testing his surroundings before he stood.
Could a dream be this detailed? Then if it wasnât a dream, why was he here, and why?
Standing around wouldnât accomplish anything at all, he figured, so with a quick pace he headed through the forest. Where were the others? Was the princess still safe? His thoughts became a jumble of questions that only ceased when the trees thinned out and he saw a village up ahead. He approached the first man he saw, a blue-robed figure.
âHey- whatâs the name of this village?â
Upon reaching the village, the young mage was quickly greeted by the faint smell of cow manure. Merric waved his hand in front of his face a bit, attempting to waft away the smell as best he could. Finding himself unable to completely however, he stopped and instead turned his gaze around, attempting to ignore the foul stench. [Oh yes, I should go ahead and mention this.
Originally this blog was post Shadow Dragon, so Merric was still studying magic and was not a teacher and the second war didn't happen yet and whatnot.
I've went ahead and made this post New Mystery of the Emblem now, so this Merric is after those events. Thought that'd be important or good to know, especially for those who've followed me for a while.
I'll be changing some headcanons to suit this change soon.
i should probably really finish new mystery of the emblem sometime goodness]

"Heh... Looks like... I win, Elle..."
A young man robed in blue was sleeping peacefully, a smile plastered on his face. Breathing softly, his head turned slightly to the right, enjoying his dream. However, it was short-lived as sudden chirping around him caused him to wake. Giving a small groan, he sat up with still sleepy eyes and began to rub them, now letting out a yawn. After a few seconds of doing that, his eyes still closed, the man raised his arms and stretched as he mentally thought about his duties for today.Â
First I'll need to say good morning to Elice, then get ready for the morning class. I believe Gai wanted to show me his progress on those spells of his...
Merric snapped his eyes open, sudden realization setting in. Wait... chirping? His room wasn't next to an area that would have birds around to say 'good morning' at the new day. Lowering his arms down slowly, he looked around with the same speed, becoming increasingly worried with each second. Trees... grass... wide open spaces... This was definitely not his room. Quickly scrambling up, he continued to look around, unsure what to think about his situation. What... is this...?
These surroundings were not familiar to him at all. This was not Pales, and much more not an area he was familiar with from Archanea at all. His worry became confusion. How did he end up in a place like this? Soon that confusion became fear. If he didn't know where he was, how we he to return home? Where was he anyway? What was going on?!
The Mage quickly calmed himself down. Freaking out about this would not help him. Letting out a sigh, he observed his surroundings more seriously this time. The area seemed to be a field of some sort- plain perhaps. Looked like the place was good for farmland. He then spotted a small village some ways ahead and let out a relieved sigh. Perhaps he could get some help from there. If he could at least know where he was, then he could start thinking about other important things- like how to get back home. Quickly reaching into his robes to make sure that he indeed did still have his tomes (he had meant to take a short nap before getting changed and finishing up some last minute studies, but ended up falling asleep), Merric began to walk towards the village.
[Ah⌠It looks like many of those who were on the Masterlist migrated over to ettavia.Â
All right⌠well, since Iâm also gonna go and include Merric in that group, I guess this means I may have to go ahead and drop the current rps, considering the situation. If you remember if we had a thread going and want to continue it, just tell me and I think I can still continue it.Â
Man, now I feel bad about not being active for a while and suddenly having to drop âem⌠Terribly sorryâŚ]
ooc: is ok, I understand. I donât know if to drop soren now. Soren is taken over there, but either way I wouldnât roleplay him there. I have been roleplaying him here in FEt for 2 years so if I join ettavia it may be as someone else.
[Ah, thanks for understanding. And I see. Well, if you still enjoying roleplaying Soren, maybe just keep him as an independent account!]
ooc: I thought of that lol. Someone suggested to get him a wyernÂ
[Aw man, Soren on wyvern. That'll be interesting haha~]

[Gaaah.... I dunno what's goin' on with my muse. It keeps going all over the place and it's annoying me ngfdlh
Anyway... I think i'm back now. I'm terribly sorry for all the rps i've gotten involved in and ended up taking so long to reply back! That's... rather rude of me actually. I'm gonna try and get the replies done sometime this weekend on both Merric and Caeda.
Again, i'm really sorry everyone!!
I just hope that FE12 translation gets finished soon. Hopefully then i'll be able to get my muse going again from playing it gah...]
Love Potion Experiment with Marth, Merric and Soren
wielderofexcalibur:
It was just as I thought; bandits were still roaming the area. Once Soren used his magic, aimed at a bush, I pulled out a basic wind spell as well and flipped it to a page quickly. Glancing at the page, I allowed Marth to handle the bandit that was coming after him and instead aimed my finger at another one wielding a sword. I knew Marth would be just fine; I had fought alongside him of course and knew heâd fair well.Â
The bandit had saw me take aim at him and immediately charged towards me, his sword raised. However, right as he was about to slice at me, a blast of wind shot out of my hand and sliced him up instead. The force of it threw the bandit back and he slammed right into a tree behind rather painfully. Seeing no further movement from him at the moment, I turned my attention to Soren for a moment. It looked like he was fairing just fine under the spell. Seeing as he was doing fine, I pointed my finger at another bandit, an axe user this time, and readied another spell.Â
More of the bandits started to come out and we all had to defend ourselves. I took out one of my tomes to do further damage and summoned tongues of wind with my words to aim at the coming bandits. However that was not enough as one of them got too close and I was forced to avoid contact with his axe, which made me lose balance due to my previous injury with Merric.
The banditâs smile spoke volumes but not enough while I tried to summon the simplest spells to force him back.  The spell didnât do as much damage because of obvious reasons but it gave me time to at least prepared myself to avoid the next attack.
With a practiced motion I darted forward, swinging my sword in a great arc before bringing it across between myself and leering bandit. It was clearly faster than the rogue had anticipated for in two great slashes the man started to howl as blood stained his tunic scarlet. He collapsed to the ground but I didnât wait to see whether the blows were fatal, in all likelihood they were, but there were more pressing matters to deal with right now. More bandits, being the prime example of such matters.
I lunged forward, catching the blade of another bandit before swiftly parrying his oncoming slice. Forcing his blade back towards him there was sound of grinding metal upon metal before suddenly I darted back, causing the bandit to stumble forwards before, a move that was fairly rudimentary, but it allowed me to thrust my blade into the manâs shoulder.
I hastily looked about to see how Merric and Soren were faring. I glanced just in time to see a bandit collide heavily with a tree, probably the effects of wind magic, but who had cast it? Moving just in time to avoid another charging brute I thought the tree-collision must have been the work of Merric for Soren was a little way further off, not only that, he seemed to be struggling a little. I back-tracked, closing the space between the three of them as the bandits called for reinforcements.
Soren lost balance and stumbled a little as he faced down yet another bandit, was he alright? Had the potion affected his magic? There was little to no time to ask, more bandits had arrived and the forest path had turned into a bloody spectacle. I dispatched another slash to a bow-wielding bandit who seemed to be aiming for Merric. I had never expected something like this to happen on a mission that at first seemed to just involve a potion.
With a yell, the bandit that I had aimed at went flying through the air and back into the forest. Hearing a smack shortly after and the russle of leaves, I gave a smirk. Two down, more to go. Turning around, I immediately noticed Soren stumble back and attempt to knock back the one who attacked him. I was about to go give Soren a hand, but paused. Coming from the forest were more bandits; reinforcements no doubt. Letting out a curse under my breath, I realized this had become much more serious than we had anticipated for.
Readying up another wind spell, I quickly considered which bandit to go after next. I looked back and forth between the ones coming in from the forest and the one going after Soren. Marth continued to fair quite well, so I let him be for the moment. "Gah..." At this point, who knew what the potion could do to Soren. Deciding to give a quick hand just in case, I pointed my finger back at the bandit rushing towards him and let out another blast of wind, causing the bandit to fly back.
Right when I was going to go focus my attention back to the incoming bandits, a sudden pain shot through the front of my shoulder. Quickly clutching it, I felt something wooden sticking out from it. An arrow. Glancing back up, I saw another bow user readying another arrow into his bow and point it towards me. Dodging it this time, my attention went back to Marth and I blinked.
"Marth! Behind you!" I yelled out, noticing an axe user sneaking up behind him.
