I try to watch the new episodes when they air and if I missed it, the next day on demand. But if you can't!! Being in the fandom and sharing and/or creating fanwork is amazing and so supportive too!! :) this fandom is great

The first season is on Paramount+ as well. I love to see new fans and I really do hope we get more episodes after these batch air!!

anyway here's my 50000 word essay on how papercut is actually the perfect pair because they are exactly the same and deserve each other (/neg and /pos) and always end up searching for each other in the end:

#the essay is in my brain but trust I proved its thesis #ok but #papercut should get together because they are the only ones who can put up with each other etc etc #and for the sake of others and theyre soulmates yeahhh whtevr #scissors will fall for anyone who shows him a semblance of kindness & it always ends badly because its based on his insecurities rather tha #love & vulnerability & partnership. he's afraid of showing his true self and hides behind his cool guy persona (except with rock & paper)#he's got blatant insecurity which he verbally and physically acknowledges which equals him always searching for love and validation #and paper on the other hand falls for pencil at first solely based on her intelligence (and as we've seen through many episodes and most #recently paper's family ep he bases his worth and value on his intelligence since he thinks its the only thing he is good at)#so he puts a lot of value on intelligence and thus wants that mirrored in a partner. it becoming an idealized version of himself in a sense #his intelligence and its value is all wrapped up in his self esteem and ego which he has to uphold or else his whole sense of self is gone #but we have seen Paper is... not that bright and as goofy and annoying as rock and scissors #that's why they have been best friends for so long and live together somewhat in harmony because he lets go around them and doesnt feel the #need to be so smart although he balances them out by having at least some common sense and foresight compared to the other 2 #this just became a Paper analysis anyway he overcompensates intelligence due to his incredibly low self esteem and also tries on Rocks wigs #and random dresses and thinks Scissors is the cutest thing in the apartment but those are not related noooo wayy lol #in conclusion Paper and Scissors are both trying to be something they're not #and search for love based on those deep seeded insecurities #when the perfect partner is right next to them!! they challenge each other and they both are attracted to each other on top of that!!#they love the same things they vibe they balance each other yeah are perfect for each other awwww #mine #yeh yeah copium but papercut wants each other unfortunately #they are repressed in their own ways #rock is not thank god he is truely the best #i would love to write smth else on how rock is literally the rock (signs of a amazingly written show) but he really holds the group togethe #because he is so sure in himself! he in confident and proud and when he is feeling down he lets his support system know! he is so genuine #and genuinely gives paper and scissors lives meaning ugh that's why Rock's Half Birthday was sooooo good #mannn this is sooo long ummm if you got this far and liked it maybe send an ask if you want to read more of this? maybe in a more cohesive #format and not in tha tags hahaha #papercut
