Anubis stiffened when the other finally popped out from his hiding place. The God instantly grabbed his little doll and held the squirming Mie against his chest, ignoring her cries to be released so she could once again resume her munching of the snacks. From his words he was apparently the so-called roommate that was supposed to be sharing his room with him. Honestly, Anubis hadn’t been sleeping in there, he was to worried about doing it when he had no idea who else was supposed to be in there. His mind had been making all sorts of whiled thoughts like the stranger would be a psychopath or a deranged killer. So far, he wasn’t sure if his theories were right or wrong, his appearance though wasn’t that much different from Anubis’ when he was dressed in normal garb.
The Jackal ears twitched a bit on top of his head and Anubis shifted away from the man, trying to put a bit more space between them without drawing attention to it. “I’m an observant person, I assumed ignoring you would make you leave. My name is Anubis, what is yours?”
The young Magi didn’t answer immediately, opting to tilt his head to the side and observe the other’s reaction. Honestly, Judal just wanted to laugh at the way they shifted away, like he was just going to pounce and bite his ears off. Oh, but then again, now that Judal thinks about it, that could be a nice idea. He silently files that away to review later, instead focusing back on the task at hand.
“I guess you’re right.” Said male finally answered, stalking forward slowly, that same fake smile still planted on his face. In contrast, Judal’s crimson eyes were sharp and predatory, just hinting at all the devious things that the male can make happen. “I’m Judal.”
Finally, Judal snapped his eyes down to the wiggling thing in Anubis’ arms. Instantly he was intrigued by the new thing, leaning in close and reaching up to poke at it. “And just what is this weird looking thing?”
