New Years with the Titans (Robin x gn!reader )
Its new years eve, and you've decided to spend it with the titans
the towers still covered in lights (mainly because cyborgs hasn't taken them down yet) and you admire the city from the rooftop
The titans set up a small party, with drinks, some music, and a TV screen with the times square new years special playing
You're all standing together, drinks in hand
"Friends! It is time to share resolutions for the New years!" Starfire announced
"Resolutions are pointless," raven rolls her eyes. "They're just empty promises people say they're going to do, but never fulfill"
"My resolution is to beat the world record for the fastest pizza eating time!" Beast Boy announces, totally ignoring what raven just said
"I don't know BB, plastic man currently holds the title," cyborg says. "Turns out he can stretch his mouth to eat the whole pizza in one bite!"
"I think I'll try to learn a new skill," you mused, staring at the jump city landscape. You turn to Robin
"What about you, bird boy?"
"I don't know,," he shrugged
"you don't know???" Beast Boy groaned "man that's even worse than Ravens answer!"
Starfire pulled you aside will they started to argue on what was a good resolution
"(Y/n), if my understanding of earthly holidays stand correct, I do believe that on the eve of the New years, earthlings kiss one another?"
"Yes, star, you're correct."
"Wonderful! Then it is the perfect time for you to kiss Robin!" She said it a little too loudly, so you take the liberty of throwing your hand over her mouth
"What?? Are you crazy??" Your face turned red hot, shifting your eyes to see if Robin had heard.
"It is the new year my friend! There is no better time to make the move!"
You sighed, "well, I guess thats one way to start the new year. Thanks Star."
She giggles and pushes you towards him, who seemed to have dispersed from the argument and was now standing alone.
He was wearing a party hat cone, which tousled his dark hair (which you thought was adorable)
The glow from the jump city night scene reflected off of his face, make his features glow.
You took a deep breath and walked towards him
"I like you. Like really, like you. You're my best friend and I trust you more than anything and I can't imagine the next year without you."
"y/n..." Robin grabs your hand, a smile on his face. "I like you too."
You could hear the other Titans counting down the clock
You stare at Robin's masked face, a hint of his blue eyes peeking through
Your hands slip from his grasp and cup his face
He carefully places his hands around your waist
