2) there is no MALE intersex condition that allows a male body to carry a pregnancy. The presence of internal female organs are almost always underdeveloped and never functional enough to carry a pregnancy.

3) as an infertile woman, I have never ever been offended or confused by people saying “only women get pregnant”.

4) there’s no reason to bring uteruses into it at all. Because you can just say “women get pregnant”

5) it matters because people who can not get pregnant can mean men, who have no business being included in discussions about female reproduction, or it could mean post menopausal or infertile women, who absolutely DO have business talking about female reproduction.

And I’m going to add in

- if you are so dysphoric that being called female will drive you to suicide, then getting pregnant, one of the most sex specific experiences possible, should kill you. It should be intolerable. If a trans man is willing to go through PREGNANCY, they can fucking stand to have the broader social conversation not center them. They can acknowledge their bio sex and not turn to dust.

I will never find it attractive or subversive for women to try to beat men at their “game” when it comes to sleazy objectification. I may be a lesbian but I also have morals. I used to be the only woman working the front desk at my overnight hotel position, and a large portion of the women wandering the lobby overnight were escorts. My male coworkers would ogle them, sometimes inviting each other to check out the half naked woman in the lobby, commenting on their bodies. And because I was the only woman, these ladies would approach me more often whenever they needed help or directions. Occasionally they would flirt, compliment me in a very genuine way, and we’d have a moment of camaraderie, and then they would leave. My male coworkers would joke asking why I didn’t “jump on that”, and say I was lucky because of how often these escorts would come up to me and that it’s not fair that lesbians have such an easy time with attractive women while they don’t even look at them. Meanwhile, I’m thinking the reason I’m being approached by these women is because they’re getting used by men the entire night and would most likely prefer assistance from a woman after dealing with perverts for hours on end. And you could see how tired and done these women were. It’s a very sad sight. Not glamorous, sexy, or fun.
