𝑱𝑬𝑻𝑻 is the grandson of hank rawlings, who owns flamingo trailer park. he ended up in hank’s custody as a young teen after his father died and his mother abandoned him, and the second he was old enough to get out of sedona, he did. jett doesn’t come back often, but when he does, it’s always chaotic as hell. now involved with a motorcycle club, jett has a habit of dragging trouble with him wherever he goes. this time is no different. he’s returned on a mission to sell off a stretch of land in the trailer park to pay down debts that are quickly closing in on him.

Hank had always been a grouch. And while she could put up with him on most days, there were certainly times he'd made their living situation a nightmare over the years. In a lot of ways, it was difficult to believe that Jett stemmed from the same bloodline. Both in terms of looks and personality. Even if the man often thought with his dick, rather using his other head. "Eh, I've been alright," Summer answered honestly, a hint of a smile tugging at the woman's lips. "You know how it is. But I appreciate the compliment. Will you be in town for long? Maybe we can grab a drink one night and catch up properly. I'd love to hear all about your travels."

Jett's grin widened at that, his usual mo of being complete and total trouble of course. "A drink, huh?" he echoed, dragging the words out slightly as he tilted his head. "You askin' me out, Summer?" Of course he simply couldn't help himself, his grin only widening as he waited for her reaction. "But yeah, I'll be around for a bit. Long enough to cause Hank a few headaches, anyway." That certainly was his plan, but he wasn't going to give any further details. Nobody needed to know his true intentions, especially with how possessive people got over this town and things changing. He didn't need anyone on his case, making the outcome even more difficult. His gaze lingered on her for a second before softening. "I'd like that, though. The drink, I mean. Not sure my travel stories are all that exciting," they most certainly were, "but I'll happily sit there and pretend they are if it gets earns me a drink with you."

Despite spending more time at the apartment as of late, Summer had been back and forth between there and the trailer park with a point to prove to her younger sibling. Sure, there may have been more than just a little trouble in paradise, but while Summer wasn't rushing back into her husband's arms any time soon, she was also determined to keep her independence.

As the woman excited the trailer, she could hear the familiar roar of a motorcycle slow to a stop, her eyes darting down the row of parked motorhomes and landing upon a face she hadn't seen for quite some time now. Jett was always full of surprises, showing up at both the best and worst of times, but never failing to leave without a lasting impression.

"I thought I smelled trouble. What brings you into town, smoothtalker?" Summer would have typically rolled her eyes, but instead the blonde smiled with amusement. For as long as she could remember, this had been Jett's M.O, and while he was mostly harmless, it was hard not to remember the origins of their backstory.

Jett wasn't shy about giving her a thorough once over, his gaze sweeping over her unapologetically and taking in every detail. "Oh, you know," he shrugged all nonchalantly, like this was just any other casual visit of his, as he brought his gaze back to meet her own. Nobody needed to know his true agenda, not even Hank. Yet. "Just passing through town, visiting my gramps.. figured he needed a little pick me up. You know how he gets." Everyone knew how Hank Rawlings could get. In fact, how he was permanently if he was honest. The man had never smiled a day in his life, but if he did, he'd probably scare the shit out of everyone. "How about you, darlin'? You look good. Then again, you always do."

Jett never liked coming back to the trailer park. The place looked exactly the same every damn time.. aluminium trailers, patchy gravel roads, lawn chairs that looked like they'd lived there for at least three decades. Sedona itself had barely changed either, which somehow made it worse. Especially for a dude that loved travelling, and thrived on change. The town staying frozen meant people got stuck there, and he'd always promised himself he'd never be one of them. He lit a cigarette climbed off of his bike, boots crunching against loose gravel while the late afternoon heat baked against the back of his neck. He could hear Hank already arguing with someone on the phone inside his trailer, which gave him zero desire to head in yet. So instead he slipped off his jacket, threw it on the bike and scanned the park lazily.

That was when he saw her. For a second, he genuinely thought his brain was fucking with him. The cigarette paused halfway to his mouth as his gaze fixed on her properly this time, like maybe if he looked long enough she'd disappear again. But she didn't. Seventeen years later and he still recognised her instantly. A quiet laugh escaped him as he pushed himself off the bike and started towards her. "Well," Jett drawled once he got close enough, that signature smirk of his planted on his features. "Either I'm hallucinating or Sedona got a hell of a lot prettier while I was gone." His eyes dragged over her for a second too long before finally meeting hers again, something unreadable settling behind them.
