It doesn’t matter if you’ve picked a side or you’re still wavering somewhere in the middle, because if this city is one you call home, you’re always going to get caught in the crossfire. 

Because if one thing is true, it’s that all roads lead to politics. 

Summer has scorched Capitol Hill and left all seven hundred thousand residents in a blackout when funds meant to be allocated to upgrading the power grid’s infrastructure were moved elsewhere. Be it another scandal kept under wraps or not, anyone who has lived here long enough will roll their eyes and agree — it’s just another day in DC.
