littledoveofice:
“Why? Am I not allowed to just stand here if it pleases me?”
“Standin’ in a spot pleases you?”
littledoveofice:
“I’m sorry I wasn’t paying attention, what did you say?” Sansa asked, giving her interlocutor an apologetic look.
“I was just askin’ why you were stood here but apparently it’s ‘cause you’re hard of hearin’.”
gendry-waters-the-bull:
Gendry kept striking the sword but stopped when he felt Ygritte’s hand on his arm. He let her take the hammer, furrowing his brows in confusion, his face a mask of worry and nervousness when she moved toward him and settled against his chest, hugging him. He tensed for a moment, clenching his teeth as his arms hung at her sides. He sighed and relaxed a little at her words, his arms hesitatingly moving around her.
Ygritte’s eyes widened slightly when he tensed, worried she was doing something wrong, but as soon as he sighed and relaxed, so did she. “I’m sorry if you lost someone important, but it happens sometimes.” She said softly, trying to think of a way to be sensitive, it wasn’t her forte. “I’m not used t’ this huggin’ business, but it’s quite relaxin’.”
stormy-edric:
“I’ll die before I let anyone near her.”

“No, you’re not dyin’ either.”
stony-mya:
Mya wanted to move over so Ygritte could lay next to her but knew it would be a repeat of the pain she just had if she did. “Well, pretty ladies in my tent.. in my bed who know how much I want them… Hard to not think bout that and not my shit arm.” She pulled Ygrittes hand up to her lips and kissed it. “I never want a Maester by my side if I know you are here. You are the only person I want ‘ere right now.” The pain was horrible, she could still feel like her ax was still slicing through her skin.
“Well I’m flattered t’ be the reason for you not feelin’ pain.” Ygritte said with a small smile. “Oh really? I am the only person? I am going t’ hold that against you ‘cause no one has ever said that t’ me before.” She added, chuckling slightly. “On the plus side, you didn’t die, so that’s another think t’ be happy about.” The redhead added, filling up a cup for herself before drinking from it. “It was a tough one.”
gendry-waters-the-bull:
Gendry clenched his fists tight on the hammer, his knuckles whitening before he lifted it and brought it down on the oranged metal a few times. “I don’t wanna talk about it,” he shrugged. “There ain’t a point to…not gonna bring anyone back or…help with anythin else either,” he shook his head.
Ygritte’s expression softened when he mentioned bringing someone back and everything clicked into place. “Oh.” She said quietly before stopping his movements with the hammer, taking it from his hands before she did something she had only see other people do since she had been in King’s Landing. Moving forward, Ygritte let go of his hand to wrap her arms around his waist tightly, resting her head against his chest. “I don’t know if it’s gonna work or even if this is right, but Margaery does it a lot and people are calm around her, so.” The redhead mumbled.
stony-mya:
Mya took Ygritte’s hand and held it tightly trying to keep the pain away. She gritted her teeth and tried to hold back tears. “This isnt quite how I thought of gettin you in a bed with me…. It’ll have to do for now I guess.” She joked, trying to pretend that there was no pain. “Maester.. They’re called Maesters. You killed that man and brought me here, then you patched me up. You’re better than any Maester I know of.”
Ygritte burst into laughter and rubbed the back of Mya’s hand with her thumb. “I don’t know how you can be so calm and makin’ jokes right now, but it’s a good thing.” She said with a nod, settling herself back down on the bed next to her. “I’d best be better than one of those otherwise I’m leavin’ right now.” She joked, relaxing once again.
gendry-waters-the-bull:
Gendry sighed when she stepped into his eye line, looking up at the ceiling of the smithy as he clenched his teeth a little before he rubbed the back of his neck and looked at her. “Look…if you’re gonna stand here and talk about how you killed a bunch of people you can go,” he said as he looked at her. “I got a bit more on my mind…”
Something must have really been bothering him to have him speak to her in the way he was, she hadn’t seen him in a while, but he had never spoken to her like that before. “I tried t’ ask you what was wrong and you just dismissed me, Gendry.” She said to him, trying to contain her anger. “Don’t snap at me just ‘cause I can’t read your mind.”
stony-mya:
Mya took the goblet from Ygritte and drank it all down, letting it spill over her face without a care. Instinct told her to bring her arm up and to wipe her face, but the instant she went to do so, horrible pain surged through her body and down her spine, causing her to scream out. “Fuck!” Mya panted for a few moments and looked back down to her arm again before laying her head back down. “How bad is it? I don’t want to lose it.”
Ygritte’s eyes widened when she screamed, jumping off the bed as if she had just received an electric shock. “I don’t know, I’m not a professional fixer or whatever it is that you lot call it.” She said, running a hand through her hair. “But I’m pretty sure if it’s still hurtin’, that’s a good sign. If you can’t feel it at all, you gotta worry. Just allow yourself time t’ heal.”
gendry-waters-the-bull:
Gendry nodded again when she told him what she’d done. “I’m so glad you enjoy killin people,” he grumbled as he pulled the sword from the fire and set it on the anvil, hitting it with his hammer to flatten it.
Ygritte crossed her arms across her chest as he spoke, her jaw clenching slightly as she moved her body so that she was in his eye line. “Do I enjoy killin’ people that would otherwise kill meself and those that can’t defend themselves? Yes I do. Do I feel guilty about it? No I don’t.”
stony-mya:
Mya wanted to cry tears of joy when she saw Ygritte. “Did you… did you save me?” She looked over to her right arm and saw it wrapped tight with linens and bandages, at least she and her arm were both still here. “How long has it been? Where are we? There anythin to drink?” Her whole body was in pain, fire in her arm, her muscles sore, and her throat dry as the sun.
“Well I mean, I dragged you outta there, yes.” Ygritte said with a warm smile. “I also tried t’ patch you up from what I’ve been shown around ‘ere and it seems t’ be workin’ ‘cause you’re not dead.” She added with a chuckle, reaching over to hand her a goblet of water before she sat on the edge of her bed. “It’s been nearly a day and we’re in your tent, I thought it’s where you’d want t’ be.”
gendry-waters-the-bull:
Gendry looked over at her whens he walked into the room and asked if he needed help and then company. He shrugged a shoulder but didn’t say anything as he picked up the next bent sword and shoved it into the flames. “Oh, well that sounds great,” he said with a nod.
Ygritte raised her eyebrows when he dismissed her comment, shaking it off before she put her bow and arrow down on the side. “It was great, I was told who t’ aim for, so I did. I must say that not many of ‘em were expectin’ me t’ get involved, but I’ll never miss out on a fight.”
wildlingisms:
“More like you threaten ‘em until they give you a place t’ sleep.”
“I would do no such thing.”
stony-mya:
Her eyes opened slowly, as if the sun was right in her face. Had it not been for the pain in her arm she would have to think she was dead. Mya looked around for a moment or two trying to figure where she was and could only determine she was on a bed, in a tent. The flap opened and she could barely make out who it was, through her dry throat she managed words. “Am I alive?”
Ygritte wasn’t entirely sure how she had gotten Mya to safety, especially without getting herself injured considering they had been in the middle of pretty heavy fighting. As soon as she had seen her get struck down, the redhead had acted, taking everyone out who tried to finish her off. “Yes you’re dead, can’t you tell?” She responded sarcastically.
gendry-waters-the-bull:
Gendry turned his head and looked over at Ygritte when she showed up at his door. He was busy fixing all of the armor and resharpening and straightening out swords. He groaned as he rubbed his forehead with the heel of his hand and shook his head, “Nothing…just busy s’all,” he grumbled. He furrowed his brows, “What’re you so happy about?”
She wandered into the room, looking at him carefully. She knew that something was wrong, but she wasn’t going to press the issue, especially at a time like that. “D’ya need some help? Or some company?” Ygritte asked him as she moved in closer. “Me? I happy ‘cause I got t’ shoot some people.” She answered with a shrug. “It was nice t’ get off me chest.”
stormy-edric:
“I’d love to fight next to you… I’d love to fight but you know I can’t leave her, I know she’ll be protected but if something goes wrong there’s very few that’d give their lives for others… Make sure to have a lot of arrows alright?”
“You know I have a lot of arrows, no one’s gonna want t’ mess with me. But if someone ends up hurtin’ you or her, I’m gonna beat your arse for not doin’ what you’re supposed t’.”
