Final Logo for the Team Bounce Back. I found this amazing slab serif called Musket. It's really fun to play with...and it’s free!

I watched Mitch Resnick’s TED talk last night and it so resonated with me. I was fortunate enough to be able to work on his MIT project Scratch. For those unfamiliar, Scratch is a brilliant open source platform for kids to express themselves through elementary code writing.
They can make animations, games and interactive content with a actually UI friendly interface. It’s so cool to see what kids can come up with when you hand them the building blocks and say “GO”. Mitch brings up an interesting proposition, “What if we taught more kids to code?” He makes the argument that the systematic thinking and creative problem solving skills developed while writing code are necessary for preparing kids for adulthood. Not everyone needs to become a computer programmer but what if our fluency with technology was as natural as our fluency with reading?

Sketch to finish for a little type project I've been messing with. I got inspired by this really Old Clock in my hometown's train station. I tried to give it a more modern feel with out losing the flair
..... I had an epiphany from a higher power to do an interactive info-graphic and for some reason it's going to be on milk consumption. I should probably do research and sketch before I jump into a project.
Well, here's a sketch of it so far. Follow the link and move the mouse around. Enjoy! Paper.js is behind all this...
Eventually this project will make sense.
It's been a while huh? Let blow off the dust on this thing. I'm bringing this damn thing back to life! I've been dipping my toes into a little more graphic design and seeing where it goes too.
Here's a few logos I've been playing with for a Fitness/Health blog. TEAM BOUNCE BACK. Gotta love the name, there's just so much to play with. Feedback PLEASE!
Wow it's been a while,
well, here's a finished background for a project I've been working this past Spring. The Projects are E-Book "Covers". They're little interactive animations, some kinda mix between illustration, programming and animation, that's all about selling the idea of the book. But through a new artistic lense.
Check my website for the projects, more to come!

follow up with another Scratch background...2 down, 14 to go!
First finished background for scratch. All Photoshop, more to come.

Oye! its been a while. Here's some color sketches I've been working on for my freelance gig. It's this platform called scratch. Its a startup company from the MIT Media Lab. Basically, its an animation and gaming platform for kids, where they get really simplified code as a means of creative interpretation it's pretty awesome, and I'm doing backgrounds for them. Please check them out! http://scratch.mit.edu/ I'll post the finals as they come.
Hey guys!! So I've been playing around with the scriptographer plug in for Illustrator... and it's amazing!! I've programmed my own drawing tool that creates a series of oblong shapes wherever I drag my cursor. It's pressure sensitive so I can adjust the size of the shapes by the amount of pressure I put on the tablet. I can change the symmetry of the shapes being drawn on the fly as I draw. Scripting + Illustrator = amazing!!!
Wow... its been awhile huh! Well here's the project I worked on during my winter break, a two page spread of digital color keys!!! This is my first official foray into digital painting. Hurray photoshop kicks butt.
Ah the next installment of my environment series. I wanted to explore how color can be used to create a world and narrative. Gouache, they are all about 4" tall. Hurray Disney colors!!
Wow... its been a while since I've posted ANYTHING! Well that's a RISD semester for ya. Any ways here's two pieces as part of my color theory final- a series of environments in which color is used to describe time of day and mood.
they're all 4'' tall super tiny! Enjoy.
Color keys round three... Once you go Disney colors, you just don't go back!
Behold!!! Flying Cars!! Well, Ok driving planes.... But none the less the future is now!
