Drop a Coin For Humanity || Rory & Will
She nodded when he talked about the hunters. “That’s reasonable,” she murmured. She flipped through the book so more, hungrily taking in the words on the page. “Yeah - I…thank you, Will. These are amazing.” Harness the power of the earth within yourself to raise you to a higher level. Control your enemies.
She snorted. “I’m not a fountain of endless patience. I can give him time. But I’m not going to wait around forever.” She turned to the next page, examining one of the diagram’s carefully. “But yeah, thank you, I’ll be sure to let you know what comes out of them.”
She closed the book she was reading, regretfully. “Thank you, Will. I…if you do see Sam, tell him I was looking for him, alright?” She asked. She didn’t want Sam to think she was waiting around like some damsel in distress, and she hated for that message to come out sounding like she was, but she also wanted Sam to know that she’d been around, just in case.
She stood up, and picked up the books, tucking them under her arm. “Thanks for the books, and the tea. I’ll see you around, I guess?” She asked, tilting her head towards him, pausing on her way to the door.
Hearing Rory repeatedly thank him for the books had him beaming. It was an almost childish look on his host's face, but he was glad that Roar had the books in her hands. It was like he kept pushing everything forward in little to no time at all. The ships were sailing smoothly and the dogs weren't barking up a storm. The demon flashed a couple thumbs up and wondered what would come out of the new power Rory would be amassing- if she could even use the books in the first place.
"And I wouldn't wait either, but if he just wanted to fuck... then I'd be willing to wait a little while. I don't think relationships are my things, ya' know?" Laughing briefly, Will walked his cup over to the counter with his usual lethargic pace. He wondered how he looked outside of his body. Did the steps look mechanical or maybe forced? Or did everything just seem natural? It was something he'd need to ask a stranger, because Sam surely wouldn't answer honestly, and Rory would just reassure him.
"But sure, Roar- when and if I see the little shit again, I'll let him know you're on the prowl." With a wink, the demon walked over to the door that Rory was approaching. Their little meeting had come to an end, and he prayed to Lucifer that she didn't ask on how to remove demons. It was his most feared lesson to do.
Rory was clearly a bit temperamental, and if anything, unstable. She could use the information in a fit of anger and he'd be sent back to Hell without this lovely host. His plans would be thwarted, but for now, he was safe. Nothing to worry about. "Anytime, Roar. And I'm sure we'll see each other soon." With a smile, Will led Rory out of the office and wondered how he'd finish the day. It didn't take long before thinking of Sammy. He'd need to pay him a visit.
