Rex was an erotic artist I admired that passed away earlier this year. Since I've had my own problems with censorship I wanted to do a tribute piece to REX and Tom of Finland who fought oppression and censorship paving the way for us. I just started a glass painting class and the above panel is my first try at painting on glass. It's been fired 3 times and is permanent. I built out the edges in stained glass to fit this Victorian lantern I have. This quote made me decide to do the lantern: "When life dims, and the hand becomes too shaky to draw, with Rex, and with Tom, it becomes time to let the lamp extinguish. Artists continue to illuminate the world with what they created so their light will forever fill the darkness." - S.R. Sharp, 2024

I wanted a harness. The really nice leather ones are around $200. So I made one out of my roommates old boots. His feet are so big the strap from one boot covers my chest. Put together with old belts, chain links, grommets. Working on a leather jock strap right now to go with it. It's made from old leather shorts that don't fit me anymore. Pics soon.
