San Jose, our last stop before heading back home. Off course one of the places to buy some Pura Vida souvenirs. We also visited the gold museum, kids museum, the national theater and spend some times at the ‘not so green’ squares in the city.

A short stop in Cartago before going to the main capital San Jose.
Wow, what a peaceful and quiet place! San Gerardo de Dota, home of the Quetzal (still hard to discover) and up in the cool mountains of Costa Rica.
After crossing the crocodile bridge we arrived in the Manuel Antonio national park. Costa Rica’s smallest national park filled with wildlife and some beaches to cool down after some hikes in the hot and hummid environment here!
Further down the Nicoya Peninsula we stopped in Montezuma with more relaxing beaches, hanging bridges and waterfalls!
Turtle watching in Samara! And after some hard work relaxing on the beaches!
Monteverde, a nice mountain town surrounded by lush rainforests, hummingbirds and fast canopys!
La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano. Lot’s of hanging bridges and jungle view around the volcano and the lake Arenal. And of course very very hot springs!
Spending quite some times getting in, around and out of Tortuguero national park. With ‘el capitan’ Mats in front of the boat and spotting all wildlife around! During the night walk we we’re very happy to find the red eyed frog!
Cahuita, our first stop in Costa Rica, with some stunning wildlife! Can you spot the jezus christ lizard?
Bocas del Toro part 2, spending some time on the beach and underwater.
We spend some days in Bocas del Toro, Exploring the mangroves and visited a bat cave which was quite an adventure but thanks to our guide we made our way back out safely!
Spending some nice jungle time in Boquete!
Spending NYE in El Valle, a stretched mountain town with the golden frog, orchids, butterflies, square trees and dusty roads...
Spending two nights in Portobelo. With some nice and not so crowded fortifications and views over the caribean see.
Panama City (new / old) and the Miraflores locks. We did spot a sloth at a weird location.
En ook Kobe was mee naar de San Blas eilanden!
