I miss writing with this blog ugh
--- A cry of pain and a whimper like a lost puppy. Elizabeth was tied and bound to a chair. She put everything into William -- and this is how he repaid her. He knew she couldn't resist. She knew she couldn't resist. The smell of the blood bag was evident. The anger boiled underneath her skin. "You know I ca--" before she could finish, the veins fought their way through. "William..---" Elizabeth spoke through an painful tone. As the veins began to fade, the thoughts began flooding back in. The smooth texture of the cool blood running down your throat -- The thick, metallic taste. Her teeth sunk into the blood bag and small moans escaped as William fought to pull the bag out -- her grip on the bag was strong even with her teeth.
--{♣} William placed the stake against her cheek with a frown, realizing she was no where near cured of her disease: bloodthirst. "I'm so sorry," He whispered through silent sobs as he tied the cherry wood stake around her head, making sure it would burn her skin. He couldn't watch, couldn't be too close. The empty blood bag fell to the floor then as she finished, still crying in pain from the stake.
The young vampire wiped the tears from his face as he tore the stake away from his love's cheek. "You need to learn, Liz. You need to be better. You can't do this nonsense- you need to be a better vampire! You can't be a monster forever. I won't let you be cursed like this. Not my Liz, not anymore." With a long sigh, he looked into Elizabeth's eyes. "Blood is not the only thing you can concentrate on." A knife plunged into her stomach then, and her screams could be heard for miles. "Next thing I stab is your heart."

Teaching An Old Vampire New Tricks||
--{♣} Cry, bleed, tear, burn. This past month had been like torture for William Rouse, more literally it was torture for Elizabeth Alister. After kidnapping Elizabeth on their first date after she returned to him, he was dead set on teaching her to be a better monster. All she craved was blood- nothing else. It irked the young vampire, almost made him furious, to know that Liz would jump anyone's neck just because she was hungry. What a disgusting, filthy, way of life. If you're going to hunt- do it the right way: Stalking, plotting, and making it a clean escape.
"Stop, Stop! Please!" The woman screamed in agony as William tore thin strips of her skin from her wrists. Every night, William held up a fresh bag of blood in front of his love's face in hopes that the hunger in her eyes wouldn't appear. But, alas, every night her veins beneath her eyes pulsated with deep red crimson flowing through them. "I can't, my love. You know that." Pain was etched into the man's face as he pressed the edge of a cherry wooden stake, the only item that could kill his love, against her bleeding skin. A sound that resembled the sizzling of bacon on a skillet flooded the room as the wood grazed against her arm. Maybe William liked doing this to her- maybe. It was a form of revenge almost, but he hadn't thought of it that way. He kept telling himself the cruel torture was only to help her in the long run.
Suddenly, William took a step back. As the ancient vampire's wounds healed he reached around the chair Liz was tied to to grab the bag of blood. "You know what you have to do to please me, Liz." He said in a distant, cold, voice. The bag was in front of her nose then, the vampire's hand shaking as he tried to keep it in her line of scent. "Fight it, my love. Come on, you can do it."

Tap. Tap. Tap. The brunette raps her fingers against the breakfast bar in the kitchen, waiting for the kettle to boil. She’s been on edge all day. Upset, all day. The night before, she experienced the one thing she didn’t ever want to experience. The death of her best friend. Now, the little ghost just wants out. She just wants to die. The girl has no more tears to shed, she’s cried herself dry. Yet, she still has a melancholy aura around her. The kettle boils and K hops over to the kettle, pouring hot water into a mug. Hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream in hand, the ghost sits back at the breakfast bar, alone.
--{♣} What is that horrible noise? An echoing 'tap' sound rang through the vampire's ears as he made his way closer to the source of the sound. Of course, being the monster he was, sounds were magnified to him at a teeth grinding level. But today everything seemed worse; Perhaps it was because of the fact he'd captured his once love and placed her in one of the basement room's with no blood to feed on. Yes, that had to be it.
As he approached the source of the annoying sound he couldn't help but put on his best charming smile. As the woman sat alone at the breakfast bar, he whizzed over to the seat next to her before she could blink. Accidentally? No, it was on purpose. He knew this girl was dead- her scent was almost revolting with the essence of regret and pain. William always was one to make an entrance.
The young vampire looked into her dark, shocked eyes with a small smirk on his pink lips, "Hello."

♢— Elizabeth was slightly confused. Though her hunting was usually done in clubs, she hadn't experienced one that still adorned the early ages. As William pulled her along, the human scents flooded her senses. As the veins, and the want to attack came to surface, William was against her. "William, just because I am not friends with humans, doesn't mean I lost all of my humanity. Now, spin me. The William Rouse I remember liked to show off, yes?"
--{♣} William quickly spun Liz in a tight circle, pulling her gently towards him as they continued to move together. "Show off? I do more than that, Miss Alister. Dance the night away, my love." No, young vampire. You can't be feeling this way towards her again. She hurt you. She murdered you. Do not believe her false feelings. But the vampire loves his creator.
"Do you smell them as strong as I do? Or have your senses dulled?" He asked in a low voice beside her ear, knowing full well she was having a difficult time keeping herself in check. "They're not worth it. A bunch of club rats- nothing special. Watch for the ones people won't miss- they're the ones you can have fun with." He smirked lightly as he spun the woman once more, her back to his chest. The young vampire quickly snatched the needle from his pocket and jammed it into his once love's side. As she melted carefully into his arms, he couldn't help but feel a sting of regret. "I'll teach you how to be a better killer."
bye bye
♢— "I always could." Poor little vampire -- oblivious to the real story. Everything seemed great. She had William, and now they were going to relive when they were truly in love, and neither one had hurt the other. Elizabeth returned his suggestion with a shrug, "The music nowadays sounds terrible. Sad to see the world go to shit." With that, her small hand now enclosed his, and she pulled him inside.
--{♣} "I just figured old age would slow you down," He added playfully with a kiss to her cheek. William loved his little monster- but she needed to learn her lesson. She had done horrible things to him. Plus, he was out of her blood. He should probably restock his supply before he ends her. Or, better yet, cured her of her curse. Maybe. The young vampire still hadn't a clue what to do with the tortured soul.
As Liz led the way indoors he could see a mixture of vintage outfits and new ones, but the music was all the same. Old 20's rhythms filled the air as the two vampires entered the room. "I don't like that side," William pointed to the modern edge of the club with a mock grimace. He took lead then, dragging his once love over to the more familiar side. "Do you remember how to do this?" Before she could answer they were already face to face- moving at the same beat.
“Hm,” Ophelia said, pursing her lips. She wasn’t entirely sure how long she would stay, but chances were that it would be for more than a week. Perhaps two, if not longer, until she had decided on where she was going to go after this. She took off her backpack, digging through it until she found her wallet. Producing $25, she held the cash out to William with a friendly smile. “I might stay a little longer than a few days, after all.”
“Rambling has always been a talent of mine, which can be both good and bad, I suppose. But hopefully I can manage to brighten up your home a little while I stay here,” she grinned, scratching her forehead. She was happy that he didn’t seem to mind her rambling, as it was a habit of hers that she had a hard time letting go of. Some people thought of her as annoying in that sense, but she really was only trying to be friendly. She noted how cold his hand was when she shook it, and instantly thought back on the saying that her mother so often used; if you have cold hands, you possess a warm heart. As ridiculous as that sounded, it did make her feel safer, and she could feel herself relax further.
She stepped inside when he held the door open for her, taking great interest in the interior design. She felt that one’s house could tell a lot about a person, and from the sight before her, William didn’t seem so bad. Turning her attention back to the man beside her, she offered another smile. “It’s not rude unless you intend it to be so,” she assured him. “How come you’re renting out rooms to people? Did you use to live here on your own? You seem quite young for that.”
--{♣} William took the money and placed it carefully in his back pocket- putting a mental reminder in the back of his mind to place the money under this woman's pillow at the end of her stay. He would never keep money from a woman- especially not this one. Ophelia sparked his interest, whether he liked it or not, and he was intent on knowing her.
The woman relaxed under his grip and he couldn't help but smile once more. She was comfortable around him. Wait, no, that's bad. No, vampire. It's good. Her blood smells sweeter than honey. Stop.
"I bought it a while back. I figured it would be nice to show it to others." A laugh escaped his lips as she said he looked young. But she wouldn't understand the joke. "I've been around, you can say I guess. I'm only 19, but I feel like an old man." You are an old man. "Shall I show you the home, Miss Ophelia?" His charming eyes met her once more. The vampire could have sworn his dead heart was aching.

♢— "I suppose we are, William." Elizabeth nodded her head to him, considering his accusation.
Elizabeth returned his grip, and pulled herself up. Liz smiled at him, then looked down at the ground, "It isn't a lie. It's just sorta is. I like it, but I can't do it." Lies, Eliabeth. You just don't understand the twenty-first century. "Don't challenge me, William." Liz smirked and before he could get a word, she was out the room, and out the front door. She knew where one dance friendly business was. As she was running, she looked back looking for her lover.
--{♦} William smiled to himself as she ran off before him. It was exactly what he'd wanted- her to be gone for a moment. His plan was slowly falling into place. "I'm sorry my pet," He muttered beneath his breath as he placed the vile of his once love's blood, only a fourth of the way full, with a black satin string back around his neck. Before he took off running he placed a thin syringe in his back pocket. One filled with pure sage and the blood of a long dead vampire hunter- one of the few things to make such an ancient monster become unconscious.
As he caught up with Liz he smiled right back at her, carefully making his arrival happen the exact moment she looked back. "I suppose you can run faster," He replied while faking a loss of breath. Mimicking a human, some would assume. The building they were facing sent a slight chill up the vampire's spine- it looked just like the bar they always were at. But of course it wasn't. They were in the wrong state. "Is it 20's night? Or so I need to show you some new moves?" He taunted with a smile as he grabbed her hand.
♢— "Oh, William. I thought vampires can not feel love? For it is all just an illusion for the time being?" Her head cocked to the side, confusing herself with the words. Elizabeth was oh so naive with everything. Sorta.
"Of course." Elizabeth couldn't help but laugh. A date? She hadn't been out with anyone, ever -- besides William. She smiled up at him, "I don't dance anymore, William."
--{♣} "We must be the exception to that theory then, my love." He replied with a soft smile as her facial expression changed every few milliseconds.
William stood up then, holding his hand out to Liz. "You don't dance anymore? Why do I think that's a complete and utter lie?" The vampire laughed lightly to himself as their hands touched. "Let's see if I'm faster at running than you."
♢— Elizabeth couldn't look him in the eyes -- not when he was telling her this. Everything he was saying sounded like music to her ears. Elizabeth never knew what to say or do while someone cried, rejoiced, etc. "I tend to have that effect on people." A little mind control joke, "Yeah-- I do." Her voice wasn't confident. It wasn't reassurance for him -- but for her.
Elizabeth looked at him with hope peaking in her eyes. Maybe the sad little vampire couple had a chance of being happy again. Maybe just maybe they can get back to normal -- but we all know that would be just too easy. "You think I'd leave Maine for me to just be able to pour out my emotions, and tell you everything, just so I wouldn't try to make everything work? I want this to work. And the old devil did.
--{♣} He smirked along with his love, "You have that affect on me more than the other's. Perhaps because love filled your veins," William added playfully as she spoke. Her words weren't an answer- more like a question. He sighed, knowing what he had to do.
"You want this to work?" He asked casually, looking at the ring on her hand. "Let's have a real date then. Like the old days. Maybe I can drag you to a dancing hall."
♢— Liz looked down as she was caught in her lies, “But, I wasn’t. I promise. You didn’t.” Stop your lying, Elizabeth. Where’d it get you before?”There is nothing for you to apologize for — honest, you didn’t hurt me.” Elizabeth stared at him for about ten seconds before she could process what he had said, “Y-you do?” Her head cocked to the side, and her eyebrows furrowed together, “I love you, too.” Liz noticed the unknown emotion tugging on his lips. So, she just awkwardly looked around the room.“I don’t need any of that.” Elizabeth didn’t. For once in her pointless, worthless, sad life, she felt happy. She felt almost as though the world around her stopped and they were the only two that mattered. But that wasn’t true — only he mattered. Elizabeth kept it because she needed it almost. “It made me feel closer yo you, I suppose. Almost like you never left — you were just lost. Like you were a puppy who would eventually find its way back and just everything would be normal.” The naive vampire knew that could never happen — nothing would be the same between them.
--{♣} The vampire knew full well he hurt her, her lying guaranteed that it did. A small smile formed upon his lips, "Of course I do, Liz. I've loved you even when I wanted to hunt you. I- I can't get you out of my head. It's like you made a little home there." The truth, for once. Wow Will. You're losing your touch. "You love me too?" A real grin was on the vampire's cold face, "I never thought I'd heard you say that again." Maybe he won't hurt her anymore. Maybe he can be in love with her. Maybe even forgive her.
"I'd still like you buy you another ring someday," Lies. There's the real William. You'd never commit to such a thing, even if you were a vampire. "I was lost. So were you. But- we both know things won't ever be the same. I'll try my best to make things right, Liz. I just hope you try too." Lies, lies, lies. You know what you have to do.
In reality, he hadn't a clue what to do.
