She knew she couldn't resist. The smell of the blood bag was evident. The anger boiled underneath her skin. "You know I ca--" before she could finish, the veins fought their way through. "William..---" Elizabeth spoke through an painful tone. As the veins began to fade, the thoughts began flooding back in. The smooth texture of the cool blood running down your throat -- The thick, metallic taste. Her teeth sunk into the blood bag and small moans escaped as William fought to pull the bag out -- her grip on the bag was strong even with her teeth.
♢— Elizabeth was slightly confused. Though her hunting was usually done in clubs, she hadn’t experienced one that still adorned the early ages. As William pulled her along, the human scents flooded her senses. As the veins, and the want to attack came to surface,...

Her eyes darted across the crowd, picking out a victim for later in the evening. As her back touched his chest, she closed her eyes. Pictures of the day they first met were dancing in her head -- but they were interrupted as the needle was plunged into her neck. Coming back to reality, she looked at William. His eyes unreadable. Strong, independent vampire hadn't seen this coming. As her body went weak, she collapsed against him.
