Day 10 Zermatt > Zurich, Switzerland . We spent most of the day traveling back to Zurich on our last full day in Switzerland. The train rides took a total of four to five hours. @sharonhuang1022 and I happily talked about our experience in Switzerland, and we couldn't have asked for more. I, of course, also couldn't have asked for a better travel/life partner. Day 09 Zermatt, Switzerland . Matterhorn at sunrise. @sharonhuang1022 and I sat next to each other as the sun slowly washed over the peak of Matterhorn. After several days of rain, the soft blue and cloudless sky were exactly what we hoped for. We spent the most of the day exploring the trails around Gornergrat. Each turn we took surprised us with an unexpected yet incredible view. Day 08 Bern > Zermatt, Switzerland . The rain continued to hit hard in the early afternoon. @sharonhuang1022 and I made our way to the town of Zermatt after two to three hours on the trains. We spent several hours in Zermatt before jumping on the cog railway for a 30 minutes ride to Gornergrat, where we hoped to catch a glimpse of Matterhorn's mountain peak. Day 07 Bern, Switzerland . Today we paid a visit to Einsteinhaus, Einstein's former residence. The place was converted to a small museum and restored to reflect Einstein's time in Bern. @sharonhuang1022 and I spent quite a bit of time reading through Einstein's biography and life's work... and here we were, on the other side of the world, looking out from the window of Einstein's house. . #switzerland #bern #einstein #einsteinhaus #shotonmoment #shotoniphone (at Einsteinhaus)

Day 06 Grindelwald > Bern, Switzerland The rain started to pour down as soon as we finished breakfast in Grindelwald. @sharonhuang1022 and I decided to head to the city of Bern as soon as the rain took a short break. The trains traversed alongside the mountainsides and lakefronts, and each journey between destination was like a moving picture painted in wistful colors. Day 05 Grindelwald, Switzerland . The Jungfrau railway system took us through series of tunnels and steep climbs. Day 04 Lucerne > Interlaken > Grindelwald, Switzerland . Before we reached Grindelwald, ourfinal destination of the day, we stopped by the top of Harder Kulm near the city of Interlaken. Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau mountains towered over the city as we looked from afar. Day 03 Lucerne, Switzerland . In one full day, we ascended and descended Mount Pilatus through a combination of boat, cogwheel railway, aerial gondola and cableway. Day 02 Zurich Switzerland > Luzern, Switzerland . We spent most of the day walking around Zurich and traveling to Luzern.
