In the last couple of years, thanks to my beautiful daughter, I have begun delving into custom American Girl Dolls. And in the last 6 months, I decided they needed tattoos. This is one of my favorites I’ve completed to date. I named her Uni-Chan. She is heavily ispired by Fairy Kei and her tattoos are all kawaii ocean themed. She is available for adoption in my shop. :-)

Love this outfit. Top started out as a very damaged vintage fashion doll top. It looked like it was handmade. Pink fabric is worn and a bit faded. I repaired the damage and covered holes by added a strip of floral fabric, buttons and new snaps. As a result, it has a vintage look, but is durable.
Jean skirt is super cute, knee length. A vintage item that looks handmade from real jeans.
Purse is another of my handmade items, using scrap fabrics.

I little before and after of the doll I customized yesterday. I’ve had this dolls for almost 10 years, she was my 3rd Pullip doll. I am getting more and more confident in my abilities as a faceup artist. I really love the result.

Happy International Faeries Day!
This is Viola. She is my first Animator Doll Repaint. I struggled with her eyes and think in the future I’m going to remove and replace with handmade eyes (soon as I learn to do that!) to get the look that I’m after. I have a bin full of these dolls that I want to turn into faeries. She was originally a Snow White doll.

Wow, I really have not posted on Tumblr in forever...all my links have changed. I’ve rebranded, evolved. Time to get this back started. Here is Etain. She is my newest complete custom Pullip doll. I did her faceup as well as creating her completely ONE OF A KIND wig. Wig was made from scrap pieces of mohair that I hand sewed together. She is my new favorite doll and I can’t wait to photograph her more modeling more of my One of a Kind outfits.

I recently aquired a bunch o Vintage Barbie clothes (most of which I am reselling) and when I went to photograph this swimsuit I could not resist trying it on one of my girls. The suit fits so good on the 27cm Obitsu L-sized body....I do think I need to work on my pinup girl poses though...
