Willow has never been one to cause waves. She much rather stay in the background and provide a helping hand. Even as a child, many people could find her in her spare time, helping out willingly with household chores.
Growing up, she always felt pressured to be perfect. Now that she's older, she realizes that pressure was far more internal than external, but she always felt as though it was because she had to keep up a certain reputation in town. So she always wanted to leave.
Willow was in every club that she could possibly fit into her schedule. Debate team, student council, drama club, and dance. On top of that, Willow had great grades and was her class valedictorian. With spectacular grades and extracurriculars, Willow was accepted into Columbia University and moved right to New York when she graduated high school.
Living on her own helped Willow find herself and during that discovery, Willow figured out that she wasn't the greatest at keeping up with her finances. The cost of living was high and despite working, nothing seemed to keep money in her pocket. Not wanting to ask for help, Willow began to sell explicit content online.
She's not ashamed of it, but she has yet to share this with her family and honestly she fails to see a time when she'll willingly share it.
After graduating with a business degree, Willow began working at a startup company. She worked there for two years until she was unjustly fired. Her past online content had resurfaced and because some of their clients were bothered by it, Willow was laid off. She understands that she could probably sue, but because she doesn't like to create waves, she'd rather just leave and leaving is what she did.
Willow came back to Kismet Harbor with a story that she was laid off due to budget cuts and has been sticking to that ever since.
For the last two years, Willow has been working as a barista and she enjoys being back in her hometown. It's given her time to reconnect with those she loves and invest time in her hobbies. One of which is creating video games, which is a project she's been working on since she's been back.
