"Henry doomed himself to hell to get William 🤤" im so sick of hearing this shit like genuinely Henrys sacrifice wasnt virtuous he only did all that because of his own selfish desires and self loathing, like always.

it is rlly so crazy sometimes the way fiction imitates reality in that, much like real life people who commit horrid crimes like this, its easier an more appealing to demonize the perpetrator as some uniquely evil beast than to recognize and point out the systems and such that allowed this kind of cruelty in the first place. Henry is as much at fault for the Freddys murders as William, his hands may not literally have blood on them but is brushing everything under the rug, actively covering for and allowing more people to be hurt, really THAT much better??

and in the end, even with his actions wrapped in a shiny bow of altruism Henrys goal is still to cover up the truth. to burn everything so nobody remembers, nobody remembers the killer that terrorized Utah for so long, nobody remembers all the people that stood idly by while it happened, nobody remembers the many victims. he never wanted to help the kids, the families, his daughter, he wanted to rid himself of the final string that tied him to his guilt.

nothing good will come of obfuscating the hard truth once more, itll just make it that much easier for it to happen again, and again, and again. <-as is the ethos of FNaF

Today I was thinking about how many people headcanon that William Afton would dress like a big shot businessman on a daily basis and I can't get it out of my head how he was dressed in the second FNAF movie with that farm shirt and high-waisted jeans. There was a joke between me and my mutuals that in the first movie his ex actually made him wear something normal and he was calling her to come over to tighten up his tie because he can't do it himself.
