Ha ha just remembered that when House and Wilson were having an emotional  meeting alone in their car while Wilson was coming to terms with the fact that he would be dead in 6 months, he tearfully told House “I need you to tell me that you love me” and House said “I won’t do that unless you fight” and then after that meeting Wilson decided to do chemo and fight his cancer

Like @ David Shore literally how else am I supposed to read that but as Wilson being desperately sad that he lived his life in the closet while consumed with love for his best friend and that it took until his own impending mortality to be able to express his need and desire
