The gene scrolls you brew are actually a sort of ticket Baldwin takes to allow dragons to go to a large cauldron filled with brew, dunk themselves in, and come out displaying the gene

The brewing level is so high on the scrolls because he doesn’t want anyone melting themselves into the cauldron- so he only lets high-leveled and experienced brewers to enter his secret cauldron

It’s been a good long while since I’ve taken on a new project dragon.

I was playing around with the Scrying Workshop, and my goodness Wildclaws look amazing with tiger/okapi. So one day - one day - this boy will look like this:

I have also found him a lady, if the owner will get back to me, but if anyone on the tag has a female dragon with these colors, I’ll snap her up in a heartbeat.

She will look like this when complete:

Obviously this project will take some time, given the price of Wilclaw scrolls at present, but come on - they’re glorious. Their babies will be glorious.

Legacy Challenge: Gen 3

I left off on this for a while because I was getting married and such, but I'm back and doing it again! And boy did I ever get lucky this round.

Cerridwyn and Belemus have been exalted to the Windsinger and their son, Sora, has taken their place.

Tiger and Underbelly from the same hatchling? Awwwwright. He's handsome, too, which is a nice plus. Caribbean Tiger/Coal/White Underbelly. Moving nicely in the 'yellows' direction.

Sora's three siblings are nothing to sneeze at either in the looks department.

Three green fae - so no points for breed rarity this round. Off to the Windsinger with you!

No breed rarity points next round either, because I couldn't resist picking up this little girl as Sora's mate, Kairi.

It fits so well! Brown Tiger/Pink Stripes/Seafoam Underbelly. I'll try to put a secondary gene on the map this round, and then I'll work on increasing rarity. Also, all the rest of everything in the AH was ugly and she was only 11k.

The primaries breed nicely across the yellows and the secondaries across the whites - I'm hoping for a yellows/white-silver combination. This gen looks good!

Legacy Challenge: Gen 2

My first legacy pair has whelped three hatchlings!

  Cerridwyn here is the heiress. Steel/Rose/White - so, not bad! She didn't get any genes, but her coloring is very pretty, and I'm pleased with the hatchling.

The other two are pretty good-looking too, but they're getting exalted - I don't have the lair space to hang onto so many dragons. I wish the spiral would have been the heir, or that Cerridwyn would've gotten the seraph instead, but oh well! I'll deal.

Now for Cerridwyn's mate, Belemus:

Leaf Tiger/Shadow/White Underbelly - I'm trying to move in the yellow direction, and I'm still trying for a tertiary gene. I want to get that proven out before I start breeding in the direction of primary or secondary genes, so hopefully it'll prove out this time. He was only 6k, so I came in under budget too!

Not bad! Anything that comes out of this will be good.

The lovely Greenspell was kind enough to let me rent one of her light nests, and my legacy pair laid three eggs! I can't wait to see what hatches out - hopefully that underbelly will prove out, or maybe seraph.
