Connect Lan Cable to PC and Mac

Network and Sharing

Change Adapter Settings

Right click Lan Cable and Properties

IPv4 properties

Assign IP Manually. 192.168.1.2 / 255.255.255.0

Mac

Settings

Network

Ethernet. 

Manually assign IP. 192.168.1.3 / 255.255.255.0

In Mac,

Finder

Go

Connect to Server

smb://192.168.1.2

Enter PC login creds. 

Mount shared folder

Use that folder (read/Write) to transfer data to/from Mac

நண்பனின் இரு சக்கர வாகனம், ' Star City ' இரவு நேரம் பத்து மணி ஆக ஒரு சில கணங்களே குளிர் காற்று, ஒரு சில வாகனங்கள் மட்டும் என்னருகில் எப்போதும் 80 அல்லது 100 km தான் செல்வதுண்டு இன்று ஏனோ 50 km மேல் செல்ல மனமில்லை நூறாயிரம் நினைவுகள் என்னை துளைத்து கொண்டிருந்தன எந்த ஒரு கேள்விக்கும் என்னிடம் பதில் இல்லை. சரி. எப்போது தான் என்னிடம் விடை இருந்திருக்கிறது? இன்று மட்டும் என்ன வித்தியாசமா? smugness? ஆனால் இன்று ஒரு தவிப்பு. தத்தளிக்க முயல்வதாகஉணர்ந்தேன் இதுதான்முதல் முறை. ஒரு வினோதமான தருணம் யாரும் என்னை எதற்கும் கேள்வி கேட்க கூடாது. கேட்டால்? நான் அப்படி தான். அப்போது அவ்வாறு சிந்திதேன் அதனால் செய்தேன். இனிமேல் அப்படி செய்ய மாட்டேன். இப்போது விட்டுவிடு. escapism என்பார்கள் ஆங்கிலத்தில். அப்போது தப்பித்தால் போதும். இவ்வாறு நிறைய பேரை மனம் வருத்தி உள்ளேன். இன்றும் அதே தவறு செய்தேன். இனி அது நடக்காது என்று என் உள்ளுணர்வு சொல்கிறது. ஒரு தெளிவு தெரிகிறது. ஆதவா சக்தி கொடு! என்னை என்னிடம் இருந்து காப்பாற்று.

[Story] Despair, Determination and Hope!

Mom read this story somewhere and she narrated it to me. Reminds me of my childhood days, when she tirelessly kept reading stories to me until I dozed off.

[Story] A man who invested his life's savings on a business lost it all. He had nothing to live for. In despair he went to a park nearby. Sometime later, an elderly gentleman walked up to him and asked whats wrong. Before leaving, the elderly person gave him a cheque for 10 Crore (rupees). He said, "Take this money and use it to rebuild yourself. Let us meet after a year, same day, same time and same place. You can repay me then". Without waiting for the young man's reply he walked away.

The young man sat and thought "This stranger who doesn't even know me, has so much confidence in me. Why should I give up on me?". The determined soul stood up. He restarted his business from ground up from where he left. He didn't use the cheque given to him. He built a bigger empire than he ever dreamt of.

One year had passed away. The young man and the elderly man met. Our hero gave back the check and had tears rolling by in immeasurable gratitude. Meanwhile a bunch of guys came and caught the elderly man and took him away. The shocked young man enquired what was happening. One of the guys said, "The elderly man has been out of his senses for the past three years. He keeps writing dummy cheques to everyone. Did he write one for you?"
